Estas son las instrucciones en cuanto al dinero que están recogiendo para ayudar a los cristianos, instrucciones que di también a las iglesias de Galacia.
CUANTO á la colecta para los santos, haced vosotros también de la manera que ordené en las iglesias de Galacia.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
Now concerning the collection for the saints: as I commanded the assemblies of Galatia, you do likewise.
Los domingos cada uno de ustedes aparte algo de lo que ganó durante la semana, y guárdelo. Así cuando yo llegue no tendrán que empezar la colecta.
Cada primer día de la semana cada uno de vosotros aparte en su casa, guardando lo que por la bondad de Dios pudiere; para que cuando yo llegare, no se hagan entonces colectas.
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
On the first day of every week, let each one of you save as he may prosper, that no collections are made when I come.
Cuando llegue enviaré a Jerusalén la ofrenda recogida y una carta; ustedes nombrarán a varias personas de confianza para que la lleven.
Y cuando habré llegado, los que aprobareis por cartas, á éstos enviaré que lleven vuestro beneficio á Jerusalem.
And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.
Si es conveniente que yo las acompañe, iré con ellas.
Y si fuere digno el negocio de que yo también vaya, irán conmigo.
And if it be meet that I go also, they shall go with me.

Llegaré a visitarlos después que vaya a Macedonia.
Y á vosotros iré, cuando hubiere pasado por Macedonia, porque por Macedonia tengo de pasar:
Now I will come unto you, when I shall pass through Macedonia: for I do pass through Macedonia.
I will come to you when I have passed through Macedonia, for I am passing through Macedonia.
Puede ser que me quede con ustedes todo el invierno; espero que ustedes me ayuden a pagar mi siguiente viaje.
Y podrá ser que me quede con vosotros, ó invernaré también, para que vosotros me llevéis á donde hubiere de ir.
And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.
But with you it may be that I will stay with you, or even winter with you, that you may send me on my journey wherever I go.
Esta vez no quiero verlos sólo de paso. Deseo quedarme con ustedes un tiempo, si el Señor me lo permite.
Porque no os quiero ahora ver de paso; porque espero estar con vosotros algún tiempo, si el Señor lo permitiere.
For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.
For I do not wish to see you now in passing, but I hope to stay a while with you, if the Lord permits.
Permaneceré en Éfeso hasta el día de Pentecostés.

Aquí se me han abierto bastante las puertas para predicar, a pesar de que muchos también están en contra de mí.
Porque se me ha abierto puerta grande y eficaz, y muchos son los adversarios.
For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.
for a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
Si Timoteo llega por allá, procuren que se sienta contento, porque él trabaja para el Señor al igual que yo.
Y si llegare Timoteo, mirad que esté con vosotros seguramente; porque la obra del Señor hace también como yo.
Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.
Now if Timothy comes, see that he is with you without fear, for he does the work of the Lord, as I also do.
No permitan que nadie lo desprecie. Ayúdenlo para que siga su viaje en paz, para que pueda reunirse de nuevo conmigo, pues lo estoy esperando, así como a los hermanos que vengan con él.
Por tanto, nadie le tenga en poco; antes, llevadlo en paz, para que venga á mí: porque lo espero con los hermanos.
Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.
Therefore let no one despise him. But set him forward on his journey in peace, that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.
Supliqué a Apolos que fuera con los demás hermanos a visitarlos, pero pensó que no era prudente que fuera ahora. Irá tan pronto como se le presente la oportunidad.
Acerca del hermano Apolos, mucho le he rogado que fuese á vosotros con los hermanos; mas en ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; pero irá cuando tuviere oportunidad.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
Now concerning Apollos the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.
Estén alertas; sean fieles al Señor. Pórtense con valor y sean fuertes.
Velad, estad firmes en la fe; portaos varonilmente, y esforzaos.
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
Watch! Stand firm in the faith! Be courageous! Be strong!
Cualquier cosa que hagan, háganla con amor.
Todas vuestras cosas sean hechas con caridad.
Let all your things be done with charity.
Let all that you do be done in love.
¿Se acuerdan de Estéfanas y su familia? Fueron los primeros en convertirse al cristianismo en Grecia, y han dedicado sus vidas a servir a los cristianos. Les recomiendo, hermanos,
Y os ruego, hermanos, (ya sabéis que la casa de Estéfanas es las primicias de Acaya, y que se han dedicado al ministerio de los santos,)
I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
Now I beg you, brothers—you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints—
que obedezcan a Estéfanas, así como a cualquiera que, como ellos, haga ese duro trabajo.
Que vosotros os sujetéis á los tales, y á todos los que ayudan y trabajan.
That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.
Me dio mucha alegría cuando vinieron Estéfanas, Fortunato y Acaico. Ellos me han dado la ayuda que ustedes no me podían dar por no estar aquí.
Huélgome de la venida de Estéfanas y de Fortunato y de Achâico: porque éstos suplieron lo que á vosotros faltaba.

Los hermanos me han pedido que les envíe saludos. Salúdense unos a otros con un beso santo.
