En cuanto a las limosnas que se recogen para los santos, practicadlo en la misma forma que yo he ordenado a las iglesias de Galacia.
CUANTO á la colecta para los santos, haced vosotros también de la manera que ordené en las iglesias de Galacia.
Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.

El primer día de la semana, cada uno de vosotros ponga aparte y deposite aquello que le dicte su buena voluntad, a fin de que no se hagan las colectas al tiempo mismo de mi llegada.
Cada primer día de la semana cada uno de vosotros aparte en su casa, guardando lo que por la bondad de Dios pudiere; para que cuando yo llegare, no se hagan entonces colectas.
Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.

Estando yo presente, a aquellos sujetos que me hubiereis designado, los enviaré con cartas mías a llevar vuestras liberalidades a Jerusalén .
Y cuando habré llegado, los que aprobareis por cartas, á éstos enviaré que lleven vuestro beneficio á Jerusalem.
And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
When I arrive, I will send whoever you approve with letters to carry your gracious gift to Jerusalem.
Que si la cosa mereciere que yo también vaya, irán conmigo.

And it may be that I will abide, yea, and winter with you, that ye may bring me on my journey whithersoever I go.

Porque esta vez no quiero visitaros solamente de paso; antes espero detenerme algún tiempo entre vosotros, si el Señor me lo permitiere.

For I will not see you now by the way; but I trust to tarry a while with you, if the Lord permit.

Now if Timotheus come, see that he may be with you without fear: for he worketh the work of the Lord, as I also do.

Por tanto ninguno le tenga en poco; y despachadle en paz, para que venga a verse conmigo, pues le estoy aguardando con los hermanos.

Let no man therefore despise him: but conduct him forth in peace, that he may come unto me: for I look for him with the brethren.

En cuanto a nuestro hermano Apolo os hago saber que le he instado mucho para que fuese a visitaros con alguno de nuestros hermanos; pero no ha creído conveniente hacerlo ahora, mas él irá cuando tuviere oportunidad.
Acerca del hermano Apolos, mucho le he rogado que fuese á vosotros con los hermanos; mas en ninguna manera tuvo voluntad de ir por ahora; pero irá cuando tuviere oportunidad.
As touching our brother Apollos, I greatly desired him to come unto you with the brethren: but his will was not at all to come at this time; but he will come when he shall have convenient time.
Now concerning Apollos the brother, I strongly urged him to come to you with the brothers, but it was not at all his desire to come now; but he will come when he has an opportunity.
Velad entretanto, estad firmes en la fe, trabajad varonilmente, y alentaos más y más.

I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints,)
Now I beg you, brothers—you know the house of Stephanas, that it is the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have set themselves to serve the saints—
Os ruego que tengáis mucha deferencia a personas de ese carácter, y a todos los que cooperan y trabajan en la obra de Dios.
Que vosotros os sujetéis á los tales, y á todos los que ayudan y trabajan.
That ye submit yourselves unto such, and to every one that helpeth with us, and laboureth.
that you also be in subjection to such, and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.
Yo por mi parte me alegro con el arribo de Estéfanas, y de Fortunato, y de Acaico; ellos son los que han suplido vuestra falta, o ausencia,
