Wo ist der Weise? Wo der Schriftgelehrte? Wo der Schulstreiter dieses Zeitlaufs? Hat nicht Gott die Weisheit der Welt zur Torheit gemacht?

¿Qué es del sabio? ¿qué del escriba? ¿qué del escudriñador de este siglo? ¿no ha enloquecido Dios la sabiduría del mundo?

Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Hasn’t God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
