1 Corintios 1

Mais Dieu a choisi les choses folles du monde pour couvrir de honte les †hommes sages ; et Dieu a choisi les choses faibles du monde pour couvrir de honte les choses fortes ;

Antes lo necio del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar á los sabios; y lo flaco del mundo escogió Dios, para avergonzar lo fuerte;

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

but God chose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong.
