Pour moi donc, mes frères, quand je suis venu vers vous, je n’y suis point venu avec des discours pompeux, remplis de la sagesse humaine, en vous annonçant le témoignage de Dieu.

And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.

Or nous proposons une sagesse entre les parfaits, une sagesse, dis- je, qui n’est point de ce monde, ni des princes de ce siècle, qui vont être anéantis.
Empero hablamos sabiduría entre perfectos; y sabiduría, no de este siglo, ni de los príncipes de este siglo, que se deshacen:
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought:
We speak wisdom, however, among those who are full grown, yet a wisdom not of this world nor of the rulers of this world who are coming to nothing.
Mais nous proposons la sagesse de Dieu, qui est en mystère, c’est-à-dire, cachée ; laquelle Dieu avait, dès avant les siècles, déterminée à notre gloire.
Mas hablamos sabiduría de Dios en misterio, la sabiduría oculta, la cual Dios predestinó antes de los siglos para nuestra gloria:
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:
But we speak God’s wisdom in a mystery, the wisdom that has been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds for our glory,
Et laquelle aucun des princes de ce siècle n’a connue ; car s’ils l’eussent connue, jamais ils n’eussent crucifié le Seigneur de gloire.
La que ninguno de los príncipes de este siglo conoció; porque si la hubieran conocido, nunca hubieran crucificado al Señor de gloria:
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
which none of the rulers of this world has known. For had they known it, they wouldn’t have crucified the Lord of glory.
Mais ainsi qu’il est écrit : ce sont des choses que l’oeil n’a point vues ; que l’oreille n’a point ouïes, et qui ne sont point montées au cœur de l’homme, lesquelles Dieu a préparées à ceux qui l’aiment.
Antes, como está escrito: Cosas que ojo no vió, ni oreja oyó, ni han subido en corazón de hombre, son las que ha Dios preparado para aquellos que le aman.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
But as it is written, “Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him.”
Mais Dieu nous les a révélées par son Esprit. Car l’Esprit sonde toutes choses, même les choses profondes de Dieu.
Empero Dios nos lo reveló á nosotros por el Espíritu: porque el Espíritu todo lo escudriña, aun lo profundo de Dios.
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
But to us, God revealed them through the Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
Car qui est-ce des hommes qui sache les choses de l’homme, sinon l’esprit de l’homme qui est en lui ? De même aussi nul n’a connu les choses de Dieu, sinon l’Esprit de Dieu.
Porque ¿quién de los hombres sabe las cosas del hombre, sino el espíritu del hombre que está en él? Así tampoco nadie conoció las cosas de Dios, sino el Espíritu de Dios.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so, no one knows the things of God except God’s Spirit.
Or nous avons reçu non point l’esprit de ce monde, mais l’Esprit qui est de Dieu ; afin que nous connaissions les choses qui nous ont été données de Dieu ;
Y nosotros hemos recibido, no el espíritu del mundo, sino el Espíritu que es de Dios, para que conozcamos lo que Dios nos ha dado;
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
But we received not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit which is from God, that we might know the things that were freely given to us by God.
Lesquelles aussi nous proposons, non point avec les paroles que la sagesse humaine enseigne, mais avec celles qu’enseigne le Saint- Esprit, appropriant les choses spirituelles à ceux qui sont spirituels.
Lo cual también hablamos, no con doctas palabras de humana sabiduría, mas con doctrina del Espíritu, acomodando lo espiritual á lo espiritual.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

Or l’homme animal ne comprend point les choses qui sont de l’Esprit de Dieu, car elles lui sont une folie ; et il ne peut même les entendre, parce qu’elles se discernent spirituellement.
Mas el hombre animal no percibe las cosas que son del Espíritu de Dios, porque le son locura: y no las puede entender, porque se han de examinar espiritualmente.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Now the natural man doesn’t receive the things of God’s Spirit, for they are foolishness to him; and he can’t know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Mais l’homme spirituel discerne toutes choses, et il n’est jugé de personne.
Empero el espiritual juzga todas las cosas; mas él no es juzgado de nadie.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
But he who is spiritual discerns all things, and he himself is to be judged by no one.
Car qui a connu la pensée du Seigneur pour le pouvoir instruire ? mais nous, nous avons l’intention de Christ.
Porque ¿quién conoció la mente del Señor? ¿quién le instruyó? Mas nosotros tenemos la mente de Cristo.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
“For who has known the mind of the Lord that he should instruct him?” But we have Christ’s mind.
