De manera que yo, hermanos, no pude hablaros como a espirituales; mas os hablé como a carnales, es a saber, como a niños en Cristo:

And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
Brothers, I couldn’t speak to you as to spiritual, but as to fleshly, as to babies in Christ.
Os di a beber leche, no os di vianda; porque aun no podíais, y ni aun ahora podéis digerirla;

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.

For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
for you are still fleshly. For insofar as there is jealousy, strife, and factions among you, aren’t you fleshly, and don’t you walk in the ways of men?
Porque diciendo el uno: Yo cierto soy de Pablo; y el otro: Yo de Apólos, ¿no sois carnales?

¿Quién pues es Pablo, y quién es Apólos, sino ministros por los cuales habéis creído; y cada uno conforme a lo que el Señor le dio?
¿Qué pues es Pablo? ¿y qué es Apolos? Ministros por los cuales habéis creído; y eso según que á cada uno ha concedido el Señor.
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?
Who then is Apollos, and who is Paul, but servants through whom you believed, and each as the Lord gave to him?
Yo planté, Apólos regó; mas Dios ha dado el crecimiento.

So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

Conforme a la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dada, yo como sabio maestro de obra, puse el fundamento; mas otro prosigue el edificio: empero cada uno vea como edifica sobre él.

According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon.

Porque nadie puede poner otro fundamento del que está puesto, el cual es Jesu Cristo.

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Y si alguno edificare sobre este fundamento oro, plata, piedras preciosas, madera, heno, hojarasca:

Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

La obra de cada uno será hecha manifiesta; porque el día la declarará; porque por el fuego será revelada, y la obra de cada uno cuál sea, el fuego hará la prueba.
La obra de cada uno será manifestada: porque el día la declarará; porque por el fuego será manifestada; y la obra de cada uno cuál sea, el fuego hará la prueba.
Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.
each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is.
Si la obra de alguno que prosiguió el edificio permaneciere, recibirá el galardón.
Si permaneciere la obra de alguno que sobreedificó, recibirá recompensa.
If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward.
Mas si la obra de alguno fuere quemada, sufrirá pérdida: él empero será salvo, mas así como por fuego.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

¶ ¿No sabéis que sois templo de Dios, y que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros?

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

Si alguno violare el templo de Dios, Dios destruirá al tal; porque el templo de Dios, el cual sois vosotros, santo es.

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

¶ Nadie se engañe: si alguno entre vosotros parece ser sabio en este siglo, hágase necio para ser de veras sabio.
Nadie se engañe á sí mismo: si alguno entre vosotros parece ser sabio en este siglo, hágase simple, para ser sabio.
Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.
Porque la sabiduría de este mundo insensatez es para con Dios; porque escrito está: Él prende a los sabios en la astucia de ellos.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
