Wir stehen als Toren da um Christi willen, ihr aber seid kluge Leute in Christus; wir sind schwach, ihr aber stark; ihr steht in Ehren und wir in Verachtung.

Nosotros necios por amor de Cristo, y vosotros prudentes en Cristo; nosotros flacos, y vosotros fuertes; vosotros nobles, y nosotros viles.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.
