1 Corintios 4

Seamos juzgados como siervos de Cristo, y como aquellos que son administradores de las cosas secretas de Dios.

TÉNGANNOS los hombres por ministros de Cristo, y dispensadores de los misterios de Dios.

Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

So let a man think of us as Christ’s servants and stewards of God’s mysteries.

Y se requiere que los administradores, sean dignos de confianza.

Mas ahora se requiere en los dispensadores, que cada uno sea hallado fiel.

Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.

Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

En cuanto a mi respecta, muy poco me preocupa ser juzgado por ustedes, o por el juicio del hombre; Ni siquiera me juzgo a mí mismo.

Yo en muy poco tengo el ser juzgado de vosotros, ó de juicio humano; y ni aun yo me juzgo.

But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self.

But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by a human court. Yes, I don’t even judge my own self.

Porque no soy consciente de ningún error en mí mismo; pero esto no me justifica que sea libre de culpa, porque es el Señor quien es mi juez.

Porque aunque de nada tengo mala conciencia, no por eso soy justificado; mas el que me juzga, el Señor es.

For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord.

For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.

Por lo cual, no juzguemos antes de tiempo, hasta que venga el Señor, que aclarará lo secreto de la oscuridad, y manifestará las intenciones del corazón; y entonces cada hombre tendrá su alabanza de Dios.

Así que, no juzguéis nada antes de tiempo, hasta que venga el Señor, el cual también aclarará lo oculto de las tinieblas, y manifestará los intentos de los corazones: y entonces cada uno tendrá de Dios la alabanza.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Hermanos míos, es por ustedes que tomé Apolos y a mí mismo como ejemplos de estas cosas, para que en nosotros puedan ver que no es prudente ir más allá de lo que está escrito, para que nadie se enorgullezca de favorecer uno en perjuicio de otro.

Esto empero, hermanos, he pasado por ejemplo en mí y en Apolos por amor de vosotros; para que en nosotros aprendáis á no saber más de lo que está escrito, hinchándoos por causa de otro el uno contra el otro.

And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

Porque ¿quién te hizo mejor que tu hermano? o ¿qué tienes que no te haya sido dado? pero si se te ha dado, ¿qué motivo tienes para el orgullo, como si no te hubiera sido dado?

Porque ¿quién te distingue? ¿ó qué tienes que no hayas recibido? Y si lo recibiste, ¿de qué te glorías como si no hubieras recibido?

For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?

For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn’t receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

Porque incluso ahora están llenos, incluso ahora tienen riquezas, han sido hecho reyes sin nosotros: en verdad, me alegraría si fueran reyes, para reinar con ustedes.

Ya estáis hartos, ya estáis ricos, sin nosotros reináis; y ojalá reinéis, para que nosotros reinemos también juntamente con vosotros.

Now ye are full, now ye are rich, ye have reigned as kings without us: and I would to God ye did reign, that we also might reign with you.

You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you!

Porque me parece que Dios nos ha puesto últimos Apóstoles, como hombres cuyo destino es la muerte; porque somos puestos a la vista del mundo, y de los ángeles, y de los hombres.

Porque á lo que pienso, Dios nos ha mostrado á nosotros los apóstoles por los postreros, como á sentenciados á muerte: porque somos hechos espectáculo al mundo, y á los ángeles, y á los hombres.

For I think that God hath set forth us the apostles last, as it were appointed to death: for we are made a spectacle unto the world, and to angels, and to men.

For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.

Hemos sido hechos tontos por Cristo, pero ustedes sabios en Cristo; somos débiles, pero ustedes fuertes; se les honra, pero a nosotros se nos desprecia.

Nosotros necios por amor de Cristo, y vosotros prudentes en Cristo; nosotros flacos, y vosotros fuertes; vosotros nobles, y nosotros viles.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but ye are wise in Christ; we are weak, but ye are strong; ye are honourable, but we are despised.

We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.

Aún a esta hora estamos sin comida, bebida y ropa, recibimos golpes y no tenemos un lugar seguro para descansar;

Hasta esta hora hambreamos, y tenemos sed, y estamos desnudos, y somos heridos de golpes, y andamos vagabundos;

Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwellingplace;

Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.

Y con nuestras manos hacemos el trabajo más duro: cuando nos dan maldiciones, damos bendiciones, cuando sufrimos un castigo lo tomamos en silencio;

Y trabajamos, obrando con nuestras manos: nos maldicen, y bendecimos: padecemos persecución, y sufrimos:

And labour, working with our own hands: being reviled, we bless; being persecuted, we suffer it:

We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

Cuando nos difaman, rogamos, contestamos con bondad : somos hechos como las cosas inmundas del mundo, como aquello para lo cual nadie tiene ningún uso, incluso hasta ahora.

Somos blasfemados, y rogamos: hemos venido á ser como la hez del mundo, el desecho de todos hasta ahora.

Being defamed, we intreat: we are made as the filth of the world, and are the offscouring of all things unto this day.

Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.

No estoy diciendo estas cosas para avergonzarlos, sino para darles un consejo como mis queridos hijos.

No escribo esto para avergonzaros: mas amonéstoos como á mis hijos amados.

I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you.

I don’t write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my beloved children.

Porque si tuvieran diez mil maestros en Cristo, no tienen más de un padre; porque en Cristo Jesús yo los engendré a través de las buenas nuevas.

Porque aunque tengáis diez mil ayos en Cristo, no tendréis muchos padres; que en Cristo Jesús yo os engendré por el evangelio.

For though ye have ten thousand instructers in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

For though you have ten thousand tutors in Christ, you don’t have many fathers. For in Christ Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.

Así que mi deseo es que me tomen como su ejemplo que me imiten a mí.

Por tanto, os ruego que me imitéis.

Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me.

I beg you therefore, be imitators of me.

Por esta causa he enviado a Timoteo a ustedes que es mi querido y verdadero hijo en el Señor; Él les recordará de mi conducta como creyente en Cristo Jesús, así como yo estoy enseñando en todas partes en cada iglesia.

Por lo cual os he enviado á Timoteo, que es mi hijo amado y fiel en el Señor, el cual os amonestará de mis caminos cuáles sean en Cristo, de la manera que enseño en todas partes en todas las iglesias.

For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

Ahora algunos están llenos de orgullo, como si yo no fuera a ustedes.

Mas algunos están envanecidos, como si nunca hubiese yo de ir á vosotros.

Now some are puffed up, as though I would not come to you.

Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

Pero iré a ustedes dentro de poco tiempo, si es agradable al Señor, y tomaré nota, no de la palabra de aquellos que están llenos de orgullo, sino del poder.

Empero iré presto á vosotros, si el Señor quisiere; y entenderé, no las palabras de los que andan hinchados, sino la virtud.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.

Porque el reino de Dios no consiste en palabras, sino en poder.

For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

For God’s Kingdom is not in word, but in power.

¿Cuál es tu deseo? ¿Que vaya dispuesto a castigarlos, o que vaya a verlos con amor y espíritu gentil?

¿Qué queréis? ¿iré á vosotros con vara, ó con caridad y espíritu de mansedumbre?

What will ye? shall I come unto you with a rod, or in love, and in the spirit of meekness?

What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
