1Es geht eine gemeine Rede, daß Hurerei unter euch ist, und eine solche Hurerei, davon auch die Heiden nicht zu sagen wissen: daß einer seines Vaters Weib habe.
2Und ihr seid aufgeblasen und habt nicht vielmehr Leid getragen, auf daß, der das Werk getan hat, von euch getan würde?
3Ich zwar, der ich mit dem Leibe nicht da bin, doch mit dem Geist gegenwärtig, habe schon, als sei ich gegenwärtig, beschlossen über den, der solches getan hat:
4in dem Namen unsers HERRN Jesu Christi, in eurer Versammlung mit meinem Geist und mit der Kraft unsers HERRN Jesu Christi,
5ihn zu übergeben dem Satan zum Verderben des Fleisches, auf daß der Geist selig werde am Tage des HERRN Jesu.
6Euer Ruhm ist nicht fein. Wisset ihr nicht, daß ein wenig Sauerteig den ganzen Teig versäuert?
7Darum feget den alten Sauerteig aus, auf daß ihr ein neuer Teig seid, gleichwie ihr ungesäuert seid. Denn wir haben auch ein Osterlamm, das ist Christus, für uns geopfert.
8Darum lasset uns Ostern halten nicht im alten Sauerteig, auch nicht im Sauerteig der Bosheit und Schalkheit, sondern im Süßteig der Lauterkeit und der Wahrheit.
9Ich habe euch geschrieben in dem Briefe, daß ihr nichts sollt zu schaffen haben mit den Hurern.
10Das meine ich gar nicht von den Hurern in dieser Welt oder von den Geizigen oder von den Räubern oder von den Abgöttischen; sonst müßtet ihr die Welt räumen.
11Nun aber habe ich euch geschrieben, ihr sollt nichts mit ihnen zu schaffen haben, so jemand sich läßt einen Bruder nennen, und ist ein Hurer oder ein Geiziger oder ein Abgöttischer oder ein Lästerer oder ein Trunkenbold oder ein Räuber; mit dem sollt ihr auch nicht essen.
12Denn was gehen mich die draußen an, daß ich sie sollte richten? Richtet ihr nicht, die drinnen sind?
13Gott aber wird, die draußen sind, richten. Tut von euch selbst hinaus, wer da böse ist.

1DE cierto se oye que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los Gentiles; tanto que alguno tenga la mujer de su padre.
2Y vosotros estáis hinchados, y no más bien tuvisteis duelo, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que hizo tal obra.
3Y ciertamente, como ausente con el cuerpo, mas presente en espíritu, ya como presente he juzgado al que esto así ha cometido:
4En el nombre del Señor nuestro Jesucristo, juntados vosotros y mi espíritu, con la facultad de nuestro Señor Jesucristo,
5El tal sea entregado á Satanás para muerte de la carne, porque el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús.
6No es buena vuestra jactancia. ¿No sabéis que un poco de levadura leuda toda la masa?
7Limpiad pues la vieja levadura, para que seáis nueva masa, como sois sin levadura: porque nuestra pascua, que es Cristo, fué sacrificada por nosotros.
8Así que hagamos fiesta, no en la vieja levadura, ni en la levadura de malicia y de maldad, sino en ázimos de sinceridad y de verdad.
9Os he escrito por carta, que no os envolváis con los fornicarios:
10No absolutamente con los fornicarios de este mundo, ó con los avaros, ó con los ladrones, ó con los idólatras; pues en tal caso os sería menester salir del mundo.
11Mas ahora os he escrito, que no os envolváis, es á saber, que si alguno llamándose hermano fuere fornicario, ó avaro, ó idólatra, ó maldiciente, ó borracho, ó ladrón, con el tal ni aun comáis.
12Porque ¿qué me va á mí en juzgar á los que están fuera? ¿No juzgáis vosotros á los que están dentro?
13Porque á los que están fuera, Dios juzgará: quitad pues á ese malo de entre vosotros.

1It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father’s wife.
2And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
World English Bible
1It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.
2You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.
3For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.
4In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?
7Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.
8Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;
10yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.
11But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.
12For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?
13But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”
