Quando um de vós tem uma disputa contra outro irmão, como se atreve a ir ao tribunal perante os juízes incrédulos e não perante os santos?
¿OSA alguno de vosotros, teniendo algo con otro, ir á juicio delante de los injustos, y no delante de los santos?
Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
Dare any of you, having a matter against his neighbor, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints?
Vós não sabeis que os santos julgarão o mundo? E, se vós julgareis o mundo, não sois capazes de resolver questões de pouca importância?
¿O no sabéis que los santos han de juzgar al mundo? Y si el mundo ha de ser juzgado por vosotros, ¿sois indignos de juzgar cosas muy pequeñas?
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Don’t you know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world is judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
Não sabeis que julgaremos os anjos? Quanto mais as coisas pertencentes a esta vida!
¿O no sabéis que hemos de juzgar á los ángeles? ¿cuánto más las cosas de este siglo?
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Portanto, se vós tendes que fazer julgamentos sobre coisas normais da vida, por que colocais tais casos diante daqueles que não têm aceitação na igreja?
Por tanto, si hubiereis de tener juicios de cosas de este siglo, poned para juzgar á los que son de menor estima en la iglesia.
If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
If then you have to judge things pertaining to this life, do you set them to judge who are of no account in the assembly?
Eu falo isso para vossa vergonha. Não há alguém entre vós sábio o suficiente para resolver a disputa entre irmãos?
Para avergonzaros lo digo. ¿Pues qué, no hay entre vosotros sabio, ni aun uno que pueda juzgar entre sus hermanos;
I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
I say this to move you to shame. Isn’t there even one wise man among you who would be able to decide between his brothers?
No entanto, um crente vai para o tribunal contra outro crente, e isso é colocado diante de um juiz incrédulo!

O fato de existir disputas judiciais entre cristãos já é uma derrota para vós. Porque não sofreis o mal? Porque não permitis a vós mesmos serdes traídos?
Así que, por cierto es ya una falta en vosotros que tengáis pleitos entre vosotros mismos. ¿Por qué no sufrís antes la injuria? ¿por qué no sufrís antes ser defraudados?
Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded?
Therefore it is already altogether a defect in you that you have lawsuits one with another. Why not rather be wronged? Why not rather be defrauded?
Mas vós tendes feito o mal e traído uns aos outros, sendo estes vossos próprios irmãos!
Empero vosotros hacéis la injuria, y defraudáis, y esto á los hermanos.
Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren.

Não sabeis vós que os injustos não herdarão o Reino de Deus? Não vos enganeis: os sexualmente imorais, os idólatras, os adúlteros, os efeminados, e os homens que mantêm relação sexual com outros homens,

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God’s Kingdom? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals,
os ladrões, os gulosos, os bêbados, os difamadores e os roubadores, nenhum deles herdará o reino de Deus.
Ni los ladrones, ni los avaros, ni los borrachos, ni los maldicientes, ni los robadores, heredarán el reino de Dios.
Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

Tais fostes alguns de vós. Mas vós fostes lavados, santificados e justificados com Deus no nome do Senhor Jesus Cristo e pelo Espírito de nosso Deus.
Y esto erais algunos: mas ya sois lavados, mas ya sois santificados, mas ya sois justificados en el nombre del Señor Jesús, y por el Espíritu de nuestro Dios.

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

"Os alimentos são para o estômago, e o estômago é para os alimentos", mas Deus destruirá a ambos. O corpo não é para imoralidade sexual, porém para o Senhor, e o Senhor para o corpo.
Las viandas para el vientre, y el vientre para las viandas; empero y á él y á ellas deshará Dios. Mas el cuerpo no es para la fornicación, sino para el Señor; y el Señor para el cuerpo:
Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
“Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods,” but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body.
Deus ressuscitou o Senhor e também nos ressuscitará pelo Seu poder.

Vós não sabeis que vossos corpos são membros de Cristo? Porventura tomaria os membros de Cristo e os associaria a uma prostituta? Claro que não!
¿No sabéis que vuestros cuerpos son miembros de Cristo? ¿Quitaré pues los miembros de Cristo, y los haré miembros de una ramera? Lejos sea.
Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
Don’t you know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!
Não sabeis que quem se une a uma prostituta torna-se um corpo com ela? Como diz a escritura: "Os dois se tornarão uma só carne."
¿O no sabéis que el que se junta con una ramera, es hecho con ella un cuerpo? porque serán, dice, los dos en una carne.
What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
Or don’t you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, “The two”, he says, “will become one flesh.”

Fugi da imoralidade sexual! Qualquer outro pecado que uma pessoa comete é fora do corpo, mas a pessoa sexualmente imoral peca contra seu próprio corpo.
Huid la fornicación. Cualquier otro pecado que el hombre hiciere, fuera del cuerpo es; mas el que fornica, contra su propio cuerpo peca.
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
Flee sexual immorality! “Every sin that a man does is outside the body,” but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
Não sabeis que vossos corpos são templo do Espírito Santo, que mora em vós, os quais recebestes da parte de Deus, e que não sois de vós mesmos?
¿O ignoráis que vuestro cuerpo es templo del Espíritu Santo, el cual está en vosotros, el cual tenéis de Dios, y que no sois vuestros?
What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own,
Pois, fostes comprados por um preço. Portanto, glorificai a Deus em vossos corpos.
Porque comprados sois por precio: glorificad pues á Dios en vuestro cuerpo y en vuestro espíritu, los cuales son de Dios.
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
