Ich meine nun, dies sei gut (dass dies gut sei) wegen der bevorstehenden Not, dass es für den Menschen gut ist, wenn er bleibt, wie er ist.

Tengo, pues, esto por bueno á causa de la necesidad que apremia, que bueno es al hombre estarse así.

I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.

Therefore I think that because of the distress that is on us, it’s good for a man to remain as he is.
