Ich möchte aber, dass ihr sorglos (sorgenfrei) seid. Der Unverheiratete sorgt für (trägt Sorge für) die Angelegenheiten des Herrn, wie er dem Herrn gefallen (zu Gefallen sein) kann.

Quisiera, pues, que estuvieseis sin congoja. El soltero tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del Señor, cómo ha de agradar al Señor:

But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;
