1 Corintios 7

Von dem ihr aber mir geschrieben habt, antworte ich: Es ist dem Menschen gut, daß er kein Weib beruhre.

CUANTO á las cosas de que me escribisteis, bien es al hombre no tocar mujer.

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Aber urn der Hurerei willen habe ein jeglicher sein eigen Weib, und eine jegliche habe ihren eigenen Mann.

Mas á causa de las fornicaciones, cada uno tenga su mujer, y cada una tenga su marido.

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

Der Mann leiste dem Weibe die schuldige Freundschaft, desselbigengleichen das Weib dem Manne.

El marido pague á la mujer la debida benevolencia; y asimismo la mujer al marido.

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband.

Das Weib ist ihres Leibes nicht machtig, sondern der Mann. Desselbigengleichen der Mann ist seines Leibes nicht machtig, sondern das Weib.

La mujer no tiene potestad de su propio cuerpo, sino el marido: é igualmente tampoco el marido tiene potestad de su propio cuerpo, sino la mujer.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

Entziehe sich nicht eins dem andern, es sei denn aus beider Bewilligung eine Zeitlang, daß ihrzum Fasten und Beten Mufte habet; und kommet wiederum zusammen; auf daß euch der Satan nicht versuche urn eurer Unkeuschheit willen.

No os defraudéis el uno al otro, á no ser por algún tiempo de mutuo consentimiento, para ocuparos en la oración: y volved á juntaros en uno, porque no os tiente Satanás á causa de vuestra incontinencia.

Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Solches sage ich aber aus Vergunst und nicht aus Gebot.

Mas esto digo por permisión, no por mandamiento.

But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.

But this I say by way of concession, not of commandment.

Ich wollte aber lieber, alle Menschen waren, wie ich bin; aber ein jeglicher hat seine eigene Gabe von Gott, einer so, der andere so.

Quisiera más bien que todos los hombres fuesen como yo: empero cada uno tiene su propio don de Dios; uno á la verdad así, y otro así.

For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

Yet I wish that all men were like me. However, each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.

Ich sage zwarden Ledigen und Witwen: Es ist ihnen gut, wenn sie auch bleiben wie ich.

Digo pues á los solteros y á las viudas, que bueno les es si se quedaren como yo.

I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.

So sie aber sich nicht enthalten, so laft sie freien; es ist besser freien, denn Brunst leiden.

Y si no tienen don de continencia, cásense; que mejor es casarse que quemarse.

But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn with passion.

Den Ehelichen aber gebiete nicht ich, sondern der Herr, daß das Weib sich nicht scheide von dem Manne.

Mas á los que están juntos en matrimonio, denuncio, no yo, sino el Señor: Que la mujer no se aparte del marido;

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband

So sie sich aber scheidet, daß sie ohne Ehe bleibe Oder sich mit dem Manne versohne, und daß der Mann das Weib nicht von sich lasse.

Y si se apartare, que se quede sin casar, ó reconcíliese con su marido; y que el marido no despida á su mujer.

But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

(but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.

Den andern aber sage ich, nicht der Herr: So ein Bruder ein unglaubig Weib hat, und dieselbige laftt es sich gefallen, bei ihm zu wohnen, der scheide sich nicht von ihr.

Y á los demás yo digo, no el Señor: Si algún hermano tiene mujer infiel, y ella consiente en habitar con él, no la despida.

But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her.

Und so ein Weib einen unglaubigen Mann hat, und er laftt es sich gefallen, bei ihr zu wohnen, die scheide sich nicht von ihm.

Y la mujer que tiene marido infiel, y él consiente en habitar con ella, no lo deje.

And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband.

Denn der unglaubige Mann ist geheiliget durch das Weib, und das unglaubige Weib wird geheiliget durch den Mann. Sonst waren eure Kinder unrein; nun aber sind sie heilig.

Porque el marido infiel es santificado en la mujer, y la mujer infiel en el marido: pues de otra manera vuestros hijos serían inmundos; empero ahora son santos.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

So aber der Unglaubige sich scheidet, so laft ihn sich scheiden. Es ist der Bruder Oder die Schwester nicht gefangen in solchen Fallen. Im Frieden aber hat uns Gott berufen.

Pero si el infiel se aparta, apártese: que no es el hermano ó la hermana sujeto á servidumbre en semejante caso; antes á paz nos llamó Dios.

But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace.

Was weiftt du aber, du Weib, ob du den Mann werdest selig machen? Oder du Mann was weiftt du, ob du das Weib werdest selig machen?

Porque ¿de dónde sabes, oh mujer, si quizá harás salvo á tu marido? ¿ó de dónde sabes, oh marido, si quizá harás salva á tu mujer?

For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Doch wie einem jeglichen Gott hat ausgeteilet. Ein jeglicher, wie ihn der Herr berufen hat, also wandele er. Und also schaffe ich's in alien Gemeinden.

Empero cada uno como el Señor le repartió, y como Dios llamó á cada uno, así ande: y así enseño en todas las iglesias.

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

Only, as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies.

Istjemand beschnitten berufen, derzeuge keine Vorhaut. Istjemand berufen in der Vorhaut, der lasse sich nicht beschneiden.

¿Es llamado alguno circuncidado? quédese circunciso. ¿Es llamado alguno incircuncidado? que no se circuncide.

Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

Was anyone called having been circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Let him not be circumcised.

Die Beschneidung ist nichts, und die Vorhaut ist nichts, sondern Gottes Gebote halten;

La circuncisión nada es, y la incircuncisión nada es; sino la observancia de las mandamientos de Dios.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is keeping God’s commandments.

Ein jeglicher bleibe in dem Beruf, darinnen er berufen ist.

Cada uno en la vocación en que fué llamado, en ella se quede.

Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Let each man stay in that calling in which he was called.

Bist du als Knecht berufen, sorge dich nicht; doch kannst du frei werden, so brauche des viel lieber.

¿Eres llamado siendo siervo? no se te dé cuidado: mas también si puedes hacerte libre, procúralo más.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

Were you called being a bondservant? Don’t let that bother you, but if you get an opportunity to become free, use it.

Denn wer als Knecht berufen ist in dem Herrn, der ist ein Gefreiter des Herrn; desselbigengleichen, wer als Freier berufen ist, der ist ein Knecht Christi.

Porque el que en el Señor es llamado siendo siervo, liberto es del Señor: asimismo también el que es llamado siendo libre, siervo es de Cristo.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.

For he who was called in the Lord being a bondservant is the Lord’s free man. Likewise he who was called being free is Christ’s bondservant.

Ihr seid teuer erkauft; werdet nicht der Menschen Knechte!

Por precio sois comprados; no os hagáis siervos de los hombres.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

You were bought with a price. Don’t become bondservants of men.

Ein jeglicher, liebe Bruder, worinnen er berufen ist, darinnen bleibe er bei Gott.

Cada uno, hermanos, en lo que es llamado, en esto se quede para con Dios.

Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Brothers, let each man, in whatever condition he was called, stay in that condition with God.

Von den Jungfrauen aber habe ich kein Gebot des Herrn; ich sage aber meine Meinung, als ich Barmherzigkeit erlanget habe von dem Herrn, treu zu sein.

Empero de las vírgenes no tengo mandamiento del Señor; mas doy mi parecer, como quien ha alcanzado misericordia del Señor para ser fiel.

Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.

So meine ich nun, solches sei gut um der gegenwartigen Not willen, daß es dem Menschen gut sei, also zu sein.

Tengo, pues, esto por bueno á causa de la necesidad que apremia, que bueno es al hombre estarse así.

I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.

Therefore I think that because of the distress that is on us, it’s good for a man to remain as he is.

Bist du an ein Weib gebunden, so suche nicht los zu werden; bist du aber los vom Weibe, so suche kein Weib.

¿Estás ligado á mujer? no procures soltarte. ¿Estás suelto de mujer? no procures mujer.

Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

Are you bound to a wife? Don’t seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Don’t seek a wife.

So du aber freiest, sündigest du nicht; und so eine Jungfrau freiet, sundiget sie nicht; doch werden solche leibliche Trubsal haben. Ich verschone aber euergerne.

Mas también si tomares mujer, no pecaste; y si la doncella se casare, no pecó: pero aflicción de carne tendrán los tales: mas yo os dejo.

But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

But if you marry, you have not sinned. If a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have oppression in the flesh, and I want to spare you.

Das sage ich aber, liebe Brüder: Die Zeit ist kurz. Weiter ist das die Meinung: Die da Weiber haben, daß sie seien, als flatten sie keine, und die da weinen, als weineten sie nicht,

Esto empero digo, hermanos, que el tiempo es corto: lo que resta es, que los que tienen mujeres sean como los que no las tienen;

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

But I say this, brothers: the time is short. From now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;

und die sich freuen, als freueten sie sich nicht, und die da kaufen, als besaften sie es nicht,

Y los que lloran, como los que no lloran; y los que se huelgan, como los que no se huelgan; y los que compran, como los que no poseen;

And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

and those who weep, as though they didn’t weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn’t rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn’t possess;

und die diese Welt gebrauchen, dafi sie dieselbige nicht miftbrauchen; denn das Wesen dieser Welt vergehet.

Y los que usan de este mundo, como los que no usan: porque la apariencia de este mundo se pasa.

And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.

Ich wollte aber, daß ihr ohne Sorge waret. Wer ledig ist, der sorget, was dem Herrn angehoret, wie er dem Herrn gefalle.

Quisiera, pues, que estuvieseis sin congoja. El soltero tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del Señor, cómo ha de agradar al Señor:

But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;

Wer aber freiet, der sorget, was der Welt angehoret, wie er dem Weibe gefalle. Es ist ein Unterschied zwischen einem Weibe und einer Jungfrau.

Empero el que se casó tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del mundo, cómo ha de agradar á su mujer.

But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife.

Welche nicht freiet, die sorget, was dem Herrn angehoret, daß sie heilig sei, beide, am Leibe und auch am Geist; die aber freiet, die sorget, was der Welt angehoret, wie sie dem Manne gefalle.

Hay asimismo diferencia entre la casada y la doncella: la doncella tiene cuidado de las cosas del Señor, para ser santa así en el cuerpo como en el espíritu: mas la casada tiene cuidado de las cosas del mundo, cómo ha de agradar á su marido.

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

There is also a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband.

Solches aber sage ich zu eurem Nutz; nicht daß ich euch einen Strick an den Hals werfe, sondern dazu, daß es fein ist, und ihr stets und unverhindert dem Herrn dienen konnet.

Esto empero digo para vuestro provecho; no para echaros lazo, sino para lo honesto y decente, y para que sin impedimento os lleguéis al Señor.

And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

This I say for your own benefit, not that I may ensnare you, but for that which is appropriate, and that you may attend to the Lord without distraction.

So aber jemand sich lasset dunken, es wolle sich nicht schicken mit seiner Jungfrau, weil sie eben wohl mannbar ist, und es will nicht anders sein, so tue er, was er will; er sundiget nicht, er lasse sie freien.

Mas, si á alguno parece cosa fea en su hija virgen, que pase ya de edad, y que así conviene que se haga, haga lo que quisiere, no peca; cásese.

But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

But if any man thinks that he is behaving inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of her age, and if need so requires, let him do what he desires. He doesn’t sin. Let them marry.

Wenn einer aber sich fest vornimmt, weil er ungezwungen ist und seinen freien Willen hat, und beschlieftt solches in seinem Herzen, seine Jungfrau also bleiben zu lassen, der tut wohl.

Pero el que está firme en su corazón, y no tiene necesidad, sino que tiene libertad de su voluntad, y determinó en su corazón esto, el guardar su hija virgen, bien hace.

Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

But he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no urgency, but has power over his own will, and has determined in his own heart to keep his own virgin, does well.

Endlich, welcher verheiratet, der tut wohl; welcher aber nicht verheiratet, der tut besser.

Así que, el que la da en casamiento, bien hace; y el que no la da en casamiento, hace mejor.

So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

So then both he who gives his own virgin in marriage does well, and he who doesn’t give her in marriage does better.

Ein Weib ist gebunden an das Gesetz, solange ihr Mann lebet; so aber ihr Mann entschlaft, ist sie frei, sich zu verheiraten, welchem sie will; allein, daß es in dem Herrn geschehe.

La mujer casada está atada á la ley, mientras vive su marido; mas si su marido muriere, libre es: cásese con quien quisiere, con tal que sea en el Señor.

The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord.

Seliger ist sie aber, wo sie also bleibet, nach meiner Meinung. Ich halte aber, ich habe auch den Geist Gottes.

Empero más venturosa será si se quedare así, según mi consejo; y pienso que también yo tengo Espíritu de Dios.

But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

But she is happier if she stays as she is, in my judgment, and I think that I also have God’s Spirit.
