1 Corintios 7

Quant aux points sur lesquels vous m'avez écrit, je vous dirai qu'il est bon pour l'homme de ne pas toucher de femme.

CUANTO á las cosas de que me escribisteis, bien es al hombre no tocar mujer.

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Toutefois, pour éviter toute impudicité, que chacun ait sa femme, et que chaque femme ait son mari.

Mas á causa de las fornicaciones, cada uno tenga su mujer, y cada una tenga su marido.

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

Que le mari rende à sa femme ce qu'il lui doit, et que la femme agisse de même envers son mari.

El marido pague á la mujer la debida benevolencia; y asimismo la mujer al marido.

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband.

La femme n'a pas puissance sur son propre corps, mais le mari ; pareillement le mari n'a pas puissance sur son propre corps, mais la femme.

La mujer no tiene potestad de su propio cuerpo, sino el marido: é igualmente tampoco el marido tiene potestad de su propio cuerpo, sino la mujer.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

Ne vous soustrayez pas l'un à l'autre, si ce n'est d'un commun accord, pour un temps, afin de vaquer à la prière ; puis remettez-vous ensemble, de peur que Satan ne vous tente par suite de votre incontinence.

No os defraudéis el uno al otro, á no ser por algún tiempo de mutuo consentimiento, para ocuparos en la oración: y volved á juntaros en uno, porque no os tiente Satanás á causa de vuestra incontinencia.

Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Je dis cela par condescendance, je n'en fais pas un ordre.

Mas esto digo por permisión, no por mandamiento.

But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.

But this I say by way of concession, not of commandment.

Je voudrais, au contraire, que tous les hommes fussent comme moi ; mais chacun reçoit de Dieu son don particulier, l'un d'une manière, l'autre d'une autre.

Quisiera más bien que todos los hombres fuesen como yo: empero cada uno tiene su propio don de Dios; uno á la verdad así, y otro así.

For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

Yet I wish that all men were like me. However, each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.

A ceux qui ne sont pas mariés et aux veuves, je dis qu'il leur est bon de rester comme moi-même.

Digo pues á los solteros y á las viudas, que bueno les es si se quedaren como yo.

I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.

Mais s'ils ne peuvent se contenir, qu'ils se marient ; car il vaut mieux se marier que de brûler.

Y si no tienen don de continencia, cásense; que mejor es casarse que quemarse.

But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn with passion.

Quant aux personnes mariées, j'ordonne, non pas moi, mais le Seigneur, que la femme ne se sépare point de son mari ; —

Mas á los que están juntos en matrimonio, denuncio, no yo, sino el Señor: Que la mujer no se aparte del marido;

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband

si elle en est séparée, qu'elle reste sans se remarier ou qu'elle se réconcilie avec son mari ; pareillement, que le mari ne répudie point sa femme.

Y si se apartare, que se quede sin casar, ó reconcíliese con su marido; y que el marido no despida á su mujer.

But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

(but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.

Aux autres, je dis, moi, non le Seigneur : Si quelque frère a une femme qui n'a pas la foi, et qu'elle consente à habiter avec lui, qu'il ne la renvoie point ;

Y á los demás yo digo, no el Señor: Si algún hermano tiene mujer infiel, y ella consiente en habitar con él, no la despida.

But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her.

et si une femme a un mari qui n'a pas la foi, et qu'il consente à habiter avec elle, qu'elle ne renvoie point son mari.

Y la mujer que tiene marido infiel, y él consiente en habitar con ella, no lo deje.

And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband.

Car le mari infidèle est sanctifié par la femme, et la femme infidèle est sanctifiée par le mari ; autrement vos enfants seraient impurs, tandis que maintenant ils sont saints.

Porque el marido infiel es santificado en la mujer, y la mujer infiel en el marido: pues de otra manera vuestros hijos serían inmundos; empero ahora son santos.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

Si l'incrédule se sépare, qu'il se sépare ; le frère ou la sœur ne sont pas asservis dans ces conditions. Dieu nous a appelés dans la paix.

Pero si el infiel se aparta, apártese: que no es el hermano ó la hermana sujeto á servidumbre en semejante caso; antes á paz nos llamó Dios.

But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace.

Car que sais-tu, femme, si tu sauveras ton mari ? Ou que sais-tu, mari, si tu sauveras ta femme ?

Porque ¿de dónde sabes, oh mujer, si quizá harás salvo á tu marido? ¿ó de dónde sabes, oh marido, si quizá harás salva á tu mujer?

For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Seulement, que chacun se conduise selon la position que le Seigneur lui a assignée, et selon que Dieu l'a appelé ; c'est la règle que j'établis dans toutes les Eglises.

Empero cada uno como el Señor le repartió, y como Dios llamó á cada uno, así ande: y así enseño en todas las iglesias.

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

Only, as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies.

Quelqu'un a-t-il été appelé étant circoncis, qu'il ne dissimule pas sa circoncision ; quelqu'un a-t-il été appelé étant incirconcis, qu'il ne se fasse pas circoncire.

¿Es llamado alguno circuncidado? quédese circunciso. ¿Es llamado alguno incircuncidado? que no se circuncide.

Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

Was anyone called having been circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Let him not be circumcised.

La circoncision n'est rien, l'incirconcision n'est rien ; ce qui est tout, c'est l'observation des commandements de Dieu.

La circuncisión nada es, y la incircuncisión nada es; sino la observancia de las mandamientos de Dios.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is keeping God’s commandments.

Que chacun demeure dans l'état où il était lorsqu'il a été appelé.

Cada uno en la vocación en que fué llamado, en ella se quede.

Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Let each man stay in that calling in which he was called.

As-tu été appelé étant esclave, ne t'en mets point en peine ; mais alors même que tu pourrais devenir libre, mets plutôt ton appel à profit.

¿Eres llamado siendo siervo? no se te dé cuidado: mas también si puedes hacerte libre, procúralo más.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

Were you called being a bondservant? Don’t let that bother you, but if you get an opportunity to become free, use it.

Car l'esclave qui a été appelé dans le Seigneur est un affranchi du Seigneur ; de même, l'homme libre qui a été appelé est un esclave du Christ.

Porque el que en el Señor es llamado siendo siervo, liberto es del Señor: asimismo también el que es llamado siendo libre, siervo es de Cristo.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.

For he who was called in the Lord being a bondservant is the Lord’s free man. Likewise he who was called being free is Christ’s bondservant.

Vous avez été achetés un grand prix ; ne vous rendez pas esclaves des hommes.

Por precio sois comprados; no os hagáis siervos de los hombres.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

You were bought with a price. Don’t become bondservants of men.

Que chacun, frères, demeure devant Dieu dans l'état où il était lorsqu'il a été appelé.

Cada uno, hermanos, en lo que es llamado, en esto se quede para con Dios.

Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Brothers, let each man, in whatever condition he was called, stay in that condition with God.

Pour ce qui est des vierges, je n'ai pas de commandement du Seigneur ; mais je donne un conseil, comme ayant reçu du Seigneur la grâce d'être fidèle.

Empero de las vírgenes no tengo mandamiento del Señor; mas doy mi parecer, como quien ha alcanzado misericordia del Señor para ser fiel.

Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.

Je pense donc à cause des difficultés présentes, qu'il est bon à un homme d'être ainsi. —

Tengo, pues, esto por bueno á causa de la necesidad que apremia, que bueno es al hombre estarse así.

I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.

Therefore I think that because of the distress that is on us, it’s good for a man to remain as he is.

Es-tu lié à une femme, ne cherche pas à rompre ce lien ; n'es-tu pas lié à une femme, ne cherche pas de femme.

¿Estás ligado á mujer? no procures soltarte. ¿Estás suelto de mujer? no procures mujer.

Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

Are you bound to a wife? Don’t seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Don’t seek a wife.

Si pourtant tu t'es marié, tu n'as pas péché ; et si la vierge s'est mariée, elle n'a pas péché ; mais ces personnes auront des afflictions dans la chair, et moi je voudrais vous les épargner.

Mas también si tomares mujer, no pecaste; y si la doncella se casare, no pecó: pero aflicción de carne tendrán los tales: mas yo os dejo.

But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

But if you marry, you have not sinned. If a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have oppression in the flesh, and I want to spare you.

Mais voici ce que je dis, frères : le temps s'est fait court ; il faut donc que ceux qui ont des femmes soient comme n'en ayant pas,

Esto empero digo, hermanos, que el tiempo es corto: lo que resta es, que los que tienen mujeres sean como los que no las tienen;

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

But I say this, brothers: the time is short. From now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;

ceux qui pleurent comme ne pleurant pas, ceux qui se réjouissent comme ne se réjouissant pas, ceux qui achètent comme ne possédant pas,

Y los que lloran, como los que no lloran; y los que se huelgan, como los que no se huelgan; y los que compran, como los que no poseen;

And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

and those who weep, as though they didn’t weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn’t rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn’t possess;

et ceux qui usent du monde comme n'en usant pas ; car elle passe, la figure de ce monde.

Y los que usan de este mundo, como los que no usan: porque la apariencia de este mundo se pasa.

And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.

Or je voudrais que vous fussiez sans préoccupation. Celui qui n'est pas marié a souci des choses du Seigneur, il cherche à plaire au Seigneur ;

Quisiera, pues, que estuvieseis sin congoja. El soltero tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del Señor, cómo ha de agradar al Señor:

But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;

celui qui est marié a souci des choses du monde, il cherche à plaire à sa femme, et il est partagé.

Empero el que se casó tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del mundo, cómo ha de agradar á su mujer.

But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife.

De même la femme, celle qui n'a pas de mari, et la vierge, ont souci des choses du Seigneur, afin d'être saintes de corps et d'esprit ; mais celle qui est mariée a souci des choses du monde, elle cherche à plaire à son mari.

Hay asimismo diferencia entre la casada y la doncella: la doncella tiene cuidado de las cosas del Señor, para ser santa así en el cuerpo como en el espíritu: mas la casada tiene cuidado de las cosas del mundo, cómo ha de agradar á su marido.

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

There is also a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband.

Je dis cela dans votre intérêt, non pour jeter sur vous le filet, mais en vue de ce qui est bienséant et propre à vous attacher au Seigneur sans tiraillements.

Esto empero digo para vuestro provecho; no para echaros lazo, sino para lo honesto y decente, y para que sin impedimento os lleguéis al Señor.

And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

This I say for your own benefit, not that I may ensnare you, but for that which is appropriate, and that you may attend to the Lord without distraction.

Si quelqu'un juge qu'il exposerait sa fille au déshonneur, si elle passait la fleur de l'âge, et qu'il est de son devoir de la marier, qu'il fasse comme il veut, il ne pèche point ; qu'elle se marie.

Mas, si á alguno parece cosa fea en su hija virgen, que pase ya de edad, y que así conviene que se haga, haga lo que quisiere, no peca; cásese.

But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

But if any man thinks that he is behaving inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of her age, and if need so requires, let him do what he desires. He doesn’t sin. Let them marry.

Mais celui qui, sans y être forcé, étant maître de faire ce qu'il veut, a mis dans son cœur une ferme résolution, et a décidé de garder sa fille vierge, celui-là fait bien.

Pero el que está firme en su corazón, y no tiene necesidad, sino que tiene libertad de su voluntad, y determinó en su corazón esto, el guardar su hija virgen, bien hace.

Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

But he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no urgency, but has power over his own will, and has determined in his own heart to keep his own virgin, does well.

Ainsi celui qui marie sa fille fait bien, et celui qui ne la marie pas fait mieux.

Así que, el que la da en casamiento, bien hace; y el que no la da en casamiento, hace mejor.

So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

So then both he who gives his own virgin in marriage does well, and he who doesn’t give her in marriage does better.

La femme est liée aussi longtemps que vit son mari ; si le mari vient à mourir, elle est libre de se remarier à qui elle voudra ; seulement que ce soit dans le Seigneur.

La mujer casada está atada á la ley, mientras vive su marido; mas si su marido muriere, libre es: cásese con quien quisiere, con tal que sea en el Señor.

The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord.

Elle est plus heureuse, néanmoins, si elle demeure comme elle est : c'est mon avis ; et je crois avoir, moi aussi, l'Esprit de Dieu.

Empero más venturosa será si se quedare así, según mi consejo; y pienso que también yo tengo Espíritu de Dios.

But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

But she is happier if she stays as she is, in my judgment, and I think that I also have God’s Spirit.
