1 Corintios 7

Was das anlangt, worüber ihr mir geschrieben habt, so ist es dem Menschen gut, wenn er kein Weib berührt.

CUANTO á las cosas de que me escribisteis, bien es al hombre no tocar mujer.

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.

Der Hurerei wegen aber habe ein jeglicher sein Weib, und eine jegliche habe ihren eigenen Mann.

Mas á causa de las fornicaciones, cada uno tenga su mujer, y cada una tenga su marido.

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.

But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

Der Mann leiste dem Weibe die eheliche Pflicht, desgleichen auch das Weib dem Manne.

El marido pague á la mujer la debida benevolencia; y asimismo la mujer al marido.

Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband.

Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband.

Das Weib ist seines Leibes nicht mächtig, sondern der Mann, desgleichen auch der Mann seines Leibes nicht mächtig ist, sondern das Weib.

La mujer no tiene potestad de su propio cuerpo, sino el marido: é igualmente tampoco el marido tiene potestad de su propio cuerpo, sino la mujer.

The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.

The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

Es entziehe sich keines dem anderen, es sei denn mit gegenseitiger Einwilligung eine Zeitlang, auf daß ihr euch der Andacht widmet; und dann seid wieder beisammen, auf daß euch der Satan wegen eurer Unenthaltsamkeit nicht in Versuchung führe.

No os defraudéis el uno al otro, á no ser por algún tiempo de mutuo consentimiento, para ocuparos en la oración: y volved á juntaros en uno, porque no os tiente Satanás á causa de vuestra incontinencia.

Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

Don’t deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn’t tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

Solches sage ich euch empfehlungsweise, nicht als Befehl.

Mas esto digo por permisión, no por mandamiento.

But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.

But this I say by way of concession, not of commandment.

Ich wollte zwar, daß alle Menschen wären wie ich; aber ein jeglicher hat seine eigene Gabe von Gott, der eine so, der andere so.

Quisiera más bien que todos los hombres fuesen como yo: empero cada uno tiene su propio don de Dios; uno á la verdad así, y otro así.

For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.

Yet I wish that all men were like me. However, each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.

Den Ledigen aber und den Witwen sage ich, es wäre gut für sie, wenn sie bleiben wie ich.

Digo pues á los solteros y á las viudas, que bueno les es si se quedaren como yo.

I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I.

But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.

Wenn sie sich aber nicht enthalten können, so mögen sie freien; denn es ist besser freien, als von Begierde brennen.

Y si no tienen don de continencia, cásense; que mejor es casarse que quemarse.

But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.

But if they don’t have self-control, let them marry. For it’s better to marry than to burn with passion.

Den Ehelichen aber gebiete nicht ich, sondern der Herr, daß das Weib sich nicht von dem Manne scheide.

Mas á los que están juntos en matrimonio, denuncio, no yo, sino el Señor: Que la mujer no se aparte del marido;

And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord, Let not the wife depart from her husband:

But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband

Hat sie sich aber geschieden, so bleibe sie unverehelicht, oder sühne sich mit dem Manne aus, und der Mann soll auch sein Weib nicht entlassen.

Y si se apartare, que se quede sin casar, ó reconcíliese con su marido; y que el marido no despida á su mujer.

But and if she depart, let her remain unmarried, or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.

(but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.

Den anderen aber sage ich, nicht der Herr: So ein Bruder ein ungläubiges Weib hat, und sie ist zufrieden bei ihm zu wohnen, der entlasse sie nicht.

Y á los demás yo digo, no el Señor: Si algún hermano tiene mujer infiel, y ella consiente en habitar con él, no la despida.

But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother hath a wife that believeth not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away.

But to the rest I—not the Lord—say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her.

Und ein Weib, das einen ungläubigen Mann hat, trenne sich nicht von ihm, so er sich es gefallen läßt, mit ihr zusammen zu wohnen.

Y la mujer que tiene marido infiel, y él consiente en habitar con ella, no lo deje.

And the woman which hath an husband that believeth not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him.

The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband.

Denn der ungläubige Mann ist geheiligt durch das Weib, und das ungläubige Weib ist geheiligt durch den Mann, sonst wären ja eure Kinder unrein; nun aber sind sie heilig.

Porque el marido infiel es santificado en la mujer, y la mujer infiel en el marido: pues de otra manera vuestros hijos serían inmundos; empero ahora son santos.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.

For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy.

Will aber der ungläubige Mann sich trennen, so mag er sich trennen; der Bruder oder die Schwester ist in solchen Fällen nicht sklavisch gebunden; denn Gott hat uns im Frieden berufen.

Pero si el infiel se aparta, apártese: que no es el hermano ó la hermana sujeto á servidumbre en semejante caso; antes á paz nos llamó Dios.

But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace.

Denn wie weißt du, Weib, ob du den Mann nicht zum Heile führst? oder weißt du, Mann, ob du dein Weib nicht zum Heile führst?

Porque ¿de dónde sabes, oh mujer, si quizá harás salvo á tu marido? ¿ó de dónde sabes, oh marido, si quizá harás salva á tu mujer?

For what knowest thou, O wife, whether thou shalt save thy husband? or how knowest thou, O man, whether thou shalt save thy wife?

For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

Wie einen jeden Gott begabt hat, wie einen jeden Gott berufen hat, also wandle er, und so verordne ich in allen Gemeinden.

Empero cada uno como el Señor le repartió, y como Dios llamó á cada uno, así ande: y así enseño en todas las iglesias.

But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.

Only, as the Lord has distributed to each man, as God has called each, so let him walk. So I command in all the assemblies.

Ist einer beschnitten berufen, so ziehe er keine Vorhaut; ist er in der Vorhaut berufen, so lasse er sich nicht beschneiden.

¿Es llamado alguno circuncidado? quédese circunciso. ¿Es llamado alguno incircuncidado? que no se circuncide.

Is any man called being circumcised? let him not become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? let him not be circumcised.

Was anyone called having been circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Has anyone been called in uncircumcision? Let him not be circumcised.

Die Beschneidung ist nichts und die Vorhaut ist nichts, sondern das Halten der Gebote Gottes.

La circuncisión nada es, y la incircuncisión nada es; sino la observancia de las mandamientos de Dios.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is keeping God’s commandments.

Ein jeglicher bleibe in dem Beruf, darin er berufen ist.

Cada uno en la vocación en que fué llamado, en ella se quede.

Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.

Let each man stay in that calling in which he was called.

Bist du als Knecht berufen, so laß dich es nicht kümmern; kannst du aber frei werden, so mache dir es zu Nutze.

¿Eres llamado siendo siervo? no se te dé cuidado: mas también si puedes hacerte libre, procúralo más.

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.

Were you called being a bondservant? Don’t let that bother you, but if you get an opportunity to become free, use it.

Denn wer im Herrn als Knecht berufen ist, der ist ein Freigelassener des Herrn, desgleichen auch einer, der als Freier berufen ist, ist ein Knecht von Christus.

Porque el que en el Señor es llamado siendo siervo, liberto es del Señor: asimismo también el que es llamado siendo libre, siervo es de Cristo.

For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ’s servant.

For he who was called in the Lord being a bondservant is the Lord’s free man. Likewise he who was called being free is Christ’s bondservant.

Ihr seid um einen teuren Preis erkauft, werdet nicht Knechte der Menschen.

Por precio sois comprados; no os hagáis siervos de los hombres.

Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.

You were bought with a price. Don’t become bondservants of men.

Ein jeder von euch, Brüder, bleibe bei Gott in dem Beruf, darinnen er berufen ist.

Cada uno, hermanos, en lo que es llamado, en esto se quede para con Dios.

Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Brothers, let each man, in whatever condition he was called, stay in that condition with God.

Die Jungfrauen anlangend, habe ich kein Gebot vom Herrn, ich will aber, als vom Herrn begnadigt, treu zu sein, meinen Rat erteilen.

Empero de las vírgenes no tengo mandamiento del Señor; mas doy mi parecer, como quien ha alcanzado misericordia del Señor para ser fiel.

Now concerning virgins I have no commandment of the Lord: yet I give my judgment, as one that hath obtained mercy of the Lord to be faithful.

Now concerning virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord, but I give my judgment as one who has obtained mercy from the Lord to be trustworthy.

So meine ich nun, wegen der gegenwärtigen Notstände, es sei gut für den Menschen, so zu bleiben.

Tengo, pues, esto por bueno á causa de la necesidad que apremia, que bueno es al hombre estarse así.

I suppose therefore that this is good for the present distress, I say, that it is good for a man so to be.

Therefore I think that because of the distress that is on us, it’s good for a man to remain as he is.

Bist du an ein Weib gebunden, so suche nicht von ihr loszuwerden; bist du eines Weibes ledig, so suche kein Weib.

¿Estás ligado á mujer? no procures soltarte. ¿Estás suelto de mujer? no procures mujer.

Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife.

Are you bound to a wife? Don’t seek to be freed. Are you free from a wife? Don’t seek a wife.

So du aber gefreit hast, so hast du nicht gesündigt, und wenn die Jungfrau gefreit hat, so hat sie nicht gesündigt; Trübsal im Fleisch aber werden solche haben, ich möchte euch gerne verschonen.

Mas también si tomares mujer, no pecaste; y si la doncella se casare, no pecó: pero aflicción de carne tendrán los tales: mas yo os dejo.

But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you.

But if you marry, you have not sinned. If a virgin marries, she has not sinned. Yet such will have oppression in the flesh, and I want to spare you.

So viel aber sage ich, meine Brüder, die Zeit ist kurz; die, welche Weiber haben, seien darum, als hätten sie keine.

Esto empero digo, hermanos, que el tiempo es corto: lo que resta es, que los que tienen mujeres sean como los que no las tienen;

But this I say, brethren, the time is short: it remaineth, that both they that have wives be as though they had none;

But I say this, brothers: the time is short. From now on, both those who have wives may be as though they had none;

Und die da weinen, als weinten sie nicht, und die sich freuen, als freuten sie sich nicht, und die da kaufen, als behielten sie es nicht.

Y los que lloran, como los que no lloran; y los que se huelgan, como los que no se huelgan; y los que compran, como los que no poseen;

And they that weep, as though they wept not; and they that rejoice, as though they rejoiced not; and they that buy, as though they possessed not;

and those who weep, as though they didn’t weep; and those who rejoice, as though they didn’t rejoice; and those who buy, as though they didn’t possess;

Und die, so dieser Welt genießen, als genössen sie ihrer nicht; denn die Gestalt dieser Welt vergeht.

Y los que usan de este mundo, como los que no usan: porque la apariencia de este mundo se pasa.

And they that use this world, as not abusing it: for the fashion of this world passeth away.

and those who use the world, as not using it to the fullest. For the mode of this world passes away.

Ich wünschte aber, daß ihr ohne Sorgen wäret. Wer unverheiratet ist, der sorgt für das, was dem Herrn angehört, wie er dem Herrn gefallen soll.

Quisiera, pues, que estuvieseis sin congoja. El soltero tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del Señor, cómo ha de agradar al Señor:

But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the Lord, how he may please the Lord:

But I desire to have you to be free from cares. He who is unmarried is concerned for the things of the Lord, how he may please the Lord;

Wer aber gefreit hat, der sorgt für das, was der Welt angehört, wie er dem Weib gefalle.

Empero el que se casó tiene cuidado de las cosas que son del mundo, cómo ha de agradar á su mujer.

But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife.

but he who is married is concerned about the things of the world, how he may please his wife.

Es ist ein Unterschied zwischen dem Weib und der Jungfrau: Die nicht gefreit hat, sorgt für das, was dem Herrn angehört, daß sie am Leib und Geist heilig sei, die aber gefreit hat, sorgt für das, was der Welt ange- hört, wie sie dem Mann gefalle.

Hay asimismo diferencia entre la casada y la doncella: la doncella tiene cuidado de las cosas del Señor, para ser santa así en el cuerpo como en el espíritu: mas la casada tiene cuidado de las cosas del mundo, cómo ha de agradar á su marido.

There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.

There is also a difference between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman cares about the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit. But she who is married cares about the things of the world—how she may please her husband.

Solches aber sage ich zu eurem Besten, nicht als ob ich euch eine Schlinge überwerfen wollte, sondern weil ihr so anständiger, beharrlicher und ungehindert dem Herrn dienen könnt.

Esto empero digo para vuestro provecho; no para echaros lazo, sino para lo honesto y decente, y para que sin impedimento os lleguéis al Señor.

And this I speak for your own profit; not that I may cast a snare upon you, but for that which is comely, and that ye may attend upon the Lord without distraction.

This I say for your own benefit, not that I may ensnare you, but for that which is appropriate, and that you may attend to the Lord without distraction.

Wenn aber einer denkt, es gehe nicht wohl an, daß er seine Tochter zu alt werden lasse, und sie die besten Jahre übergehe, und es mag nicht anders sein, so tue er, was er will, er sündigt nicht, er lasse sie freien.

Mas, si á alguno parece cosa fea en su hija virgen, que pase ya de edad, y que así conviene que se haga, haga lo que quisiere, no peca; cásese.

But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry.

But if any man thinks that he is behaving inappropriately toward his virgin, if she is past the flower of her age, and if need so requires, let him do what he desires. He doesn’t sin. Let them marry.

Wenn aber einer fest steht in seinem Sinn, ohne eine Nötigung zu haben, und freien Willen hat, und solches in seinem Herzen beschließt, der tut wohl daran, seine Tochter also bleiben zu lassen.

Pero el que está firme en su corazón, y no tiene necesidad, sino que tiene libertad de su voluntad, y determinó en su corazón esto, el guardar su hija virgen, bien hace.

Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well.

But he who stands steadfast in his heart, having no urgency, but has power over his own will, and has determined in his own heart to keep his own virgin, does well.

Wer daher heiraten läßt, der tut wohl, und wer nicht heiraten läßt, tut besser.

Así que, el que la da en casamiento, bien hace; y el que no la da en casamiento, hace mejor.

So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better.

So then both he who gives his own virgin in marriage does well, and he who doesn’t give her in marriage does better.

Ein Weib ist gebunden, solange ihr Mann lebt; wenn aber ihr Mann entschläft, so ist sie frei und kann heiraten wen sie will, nur daß es im Herrn geschehe.

La mujer casada está atada á la ley, mientras vive su marido; mas si su marido muriere, libre es: cásese con quien quisiere, con tal que sea en el Señor.

The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord.

A wife is bound by law for as long as her husband lives; but if the husband is dead, she is free to be married to whomever she desires, only in the Lord.

Doch ist sie nach meiner Meinung glücklicher, wenn sie so bleibt, ich denke aber auch den Geist Gottes zu haben.

Empero más venturosa será si se quedare así, según mi consejo; y pienso que también yo tengo Espíritu de Dios.

But she is happier if she so abide, after my judgment: and I think also that I have the Spirit of God.

But she is happier if she stays as she is, in my judgment, and I think that I also have God’s Spirit.
