Portanto, eu corro direto para o alvo, com esse propósito em cada passo. Quando luto, não luto como quem esmurra o ar.

Así que, yo de esta manera corro, no como á cosa incierta; de esta manera peleo, no como quien hiere el aire:

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:

I therefore run like that, not aimlessly. I fight like that, not beating the air,
