Geliebte, nicht ein neues Gebot schreibe ich euch, sondern ein altes Gebot, das ihr von Anfang an hattet. Das alte Gebot ist das Wort, das ihr gehört habt.

Hermanos, no os escribo mandamiento nuevo, sino el mandamiento antiguo que habéis tenido desde el principio: el mandamiento antiguo es la palabra que habéis oído desde el principio.

Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which ye had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word which ye have heard from the beginning.
