Voyez quel amour le Père nous a témoigné, pour que nous soyons appelés enfants de Dieu! Et nous le sommes. Si le monde ne nous connaît pas, c’est qu’il ne l’a pas connu.

MIRAD cuál amor nos ha dado el Padre, que seamos llamados hijos de Dios: por esto el mundo no nos conoce, porque no le conoce á él.

Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

See how great a love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God! For this cause the world doesn’t know us, because it didn’t know him.
