Celui qui pratique le péché est du diable, car dès le commencement le diable pèche. C’est pour ceci que le Fils de Dieu a été manifesté, afin qu’il détruise les œuvres du diable.

El que hace pecado, es del diablo; porque el diablo peca desde el principio. Para esto apareció el Hijo de Dios, para deshacer las obras del diablo.

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.
