Et nous avons connu et cru la charité que Dieu a pour nous. Dieu est charité ; et celui qui demeure dans la charité, demeure en Dieu, et Dieu en lui.

Y nosotros hemos conocido y creído el amor que Dios tiene para con nosotros. Dios es amor; y el que vive en amor, vive en Dios, y Dios en él.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.
