Si quelqu'un dit : " J'aime Dieu ", et qu'il haïsse son frère, c'est un menteur ; comment celui qui n'aime pas son frère qu'il voit, peut-il aimer Dieu qu'il ne voit pas ?

Si alguno dice, Yo amo á Dios, y aborrece á su hermano, es mentiroso. Porque el que no ama á su hermano al cual ha visto, ¿cómo puede amar á Dios á quien no ha visto?

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
