Geliebte, schenkt nicht jedem Geiste Glauben, sondern prüfet die Geister, ob sie aus Gott sind; denn viele falsche Propheten sind in die Welt ausgezogen.

AMADOS, no creáis á todo espíritu, sino probad los espíritus si son de Dios: porque muchos falsos profetas son salidos en el mundo.

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Beloved, don’t believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Daran könnt ihr den Geist Gottes erkennen: Jeder Geist, der da bekennt, daß Jesus der im Fleisch gekommene Christus ist, der ist aus Gott;

En esto conoced el Espíritu de Dios: todo espíritu que confiesa que Jesucristo es venido en carne es de Dios:

Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God,

und jeder Geist, der Jesus nicht so bekennt, ist nicht aus Gott; das ist vielmehr der Geist des Widerchrists, von dessen Kommen ihr gehört habt und der jetzt schon in der Welt ist.

Y todo espíritu que no confiesa que Jesucristo es venido en carne, no es de Dios: y éste es el espíritu del anticristo, del cual vosotros habéis oído que ha de venir, y que ahora ya está en el mundo.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

and every spirit who doesn’t confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God; and this is the spirit of the Antichrist, of whom you have heard that it comes. Now it is in the world already.

Ihr seid aus Gott, Kindlein, und habt sie überwunden, weil der, welcher in euch (wirksam) ist, stärker ist als der in der Welt.

Hijitos, vosotros sois de Dios, y los habéis vencido; porque el que en vosotros está, es mayor que el que está en el mundo.

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Sie stammen aus der Welt; deshalb reden sie aus der Welt heraus, und die Welt hört auf sie.

Ellos son del mundo; por eso hablan del mundo, y el mundo los oye.

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

They are of the world. Therefore they speak of the world, and the world hears them.

Wir aber sind aus Gott; wer Gott (er)kennt, der hört auf uns; wer nicht aus Gott ist, hört nicht auf uns. Daran erkennen wir den Geist der Wahrheit und den Geist der Täuschung.

Nosotros somos de Dios: el que conoce á Dios, nos oye: el que no es de Dios, no nos oye. Por esto conocemos el espíritu de verdad y el espíritu de error.

We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

We are of God. He who knows God listens to us. He who is not of God doesn’t listen to us. By this we know the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

Geliebte, laßt uns einander lieben! Denn die Liebe stammt aus Gott, und jeder, der liebt, ist aus Gott erzeugt und erkennt Gott.

Carísimos, amémonos unos á otros; porque el amor es de Dios. Cualquiera que ama, es nacido de Dios, y conoce á Dios.

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.

Beloved, let’s love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.

Wer nicht liebt, hat Gott nicht erkannt; denn Gott ist Liebe.

El que no ama, no conoce á Dios; porque Dios es amor.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

He who doesn’t love doesn’t know God, for God is love.

Darin ist die Liebe Gottes an uns offenbar geworden, daß Gott seinen eingeborenen Sohn in die Welt gesandt hat, damit wir durch ihn leben.

En esto se mostró el amor de Dios para con nosotros, en que Dios envió á su Hijo unigénito al mundo, para que vivamos por él.

In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

By this God’s love was revealed in us, that God has sent his only born Son into the world that we might live through him.

Darin besteht die Liebe: nicht daß wir Gott geliebt haben, sondern daß er uns geliebt und seinen Sohn zur Sühnung für unsere Sünden gesandt hat.

En esto consiste el amor: no que nosotros hayamos amado á Dios, sino que él nos amó á nosotros, y ha enviado á su Hijo en propiciación por nuestros pecados.

Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

In this is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son as the atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Geliebte, wenn Gott uns so sehr geliebt hat, so sind auch wir verpflichtet, einander zu lieben.

Amados, si Dios así nos ha amado, debemos también nosotros amarnos unos á otros.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

Beloved, if God loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.

Niemand hat Gott jemals (mit Augen) gesehen; doch wenn wir einander lieben, so bleibt Gott dauernd in uns, und seine Liebe ist in uns zur Vollendung gekommen.

Ninguno vió jamás á Dios. Si nos amamos unos á otros, Dios está en nosotros, y su amor es perfecto en nosotros:

No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God remains in us, and his love has been perfected in us.

Daß wir aber in ihm bleiben und er in uns, erkennen wir daran, daß er uns (eine Spende) von seinem Geist gegeben hat.

En esto conocemos que estamos en él, y él en nosotros, en que nos ha dado de su Espíritu.

Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

By this we know that we remain in him and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.

Und wir haben (mit Augen) gesehen und bezeugen es, daß der Vater den Sohn als Retter der Welt gesandt hat.

Y nosotros hemos visto y testificamos que el Padre ha enviado al Hijo para ser Salvador del mundo.

And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.

We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.

Wer nun bekennt, daß Jesus der Sohn Gottes ist, in dem wohnt Gott dauernd, und er wohnt dauernd in Gott.

Cualquiera que confesare que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios, Dios está en él, y él en Dios.

Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him, and he in God.

Und wir haben die Liebe, die Gott zu uns hat, erkannt und geglaubt: Gott ist Liebe, und wer in der Liebe bleibt, der bleibt in Gott, und Gott bleibt in ihm.

Y nosotros hemos conocido y creído el amor que Dios tiene para con nosotros. Dios es amor; y el que vive en amor, vive en Dios, y Dios en él.

And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.

We know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and he who remains in love remains in God, and God remains in him.

Darin ist die Liebe bei uns zur Vollendung gekommen, daß wir eine freudige Zuversicht am Tage des Gerichts haben; denn wie er ist, so sind auch wir in dieser Welt.

En esto es perfecto el amor con nosotros, para que tengamos confianza en el día del juicio; pues como él es, así somos nosotros en este mundo.

Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Furcht ist nicht in der Liebe, sondern die vollkommene Liebe treibt die Furcht aus, weil die Furcht es mit Strafe zu tun hat; wer also Furcht empfindet, der ist in der Liebe noch nicht zur Vollendung gelangt.

En amor no hay temor; mas el perfecto amor echa fuera el temor: porque el temor tiene pena. De donde el que teme, no está perfecto en el amor.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

Wir dagegen lieben, weil er uns zuerst geliebt hat.

Nosotros le amamos á él, porque él nos amó primero.

Wenn jemand behauptet: »Ich liebe Gott« und doch seinen Bruder haßt, so ist er ein Lügner; denn wer seinen Bruder nicht liebt, der sichtbar bei ihm ist, kann ganz gewiß Gott nicht lieben, den er nicht gesehen hat.

Si alguno dice, Yo amo á Dios, y aborrece á su hermano, es mentiroso. Porque el que no ama á su hermano al cual ha visto, ¿cómo puede amar á Dios á quien no ha visto?

If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

If a man says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who doesn’t love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?

Und dies Gebot haben wir von ihm, daß, wer Gott liebt, auch seinen Bruder liebe.

Y nosotros tenemos este mandamiento de él: Que el que ama á Dios, ame también á su hermano.

And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.

This commandment we have from him, that he who loves God should also love his brother.
