Wer da glaubet an den Sohn Gottes, der hat solch Zeugnis bei sich. Wer Gott nicht glaubet, der macht ihn zum Lügner; denn er glaubet nicht dem Zeugnis, das Gott zeuget von seinem Sohn.

TODO aquel que cree que Jesús es el Cristo, es nacido de Dios: y cualquiera que ama al que ha engendrado, ama también al que es nacido de él.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

Whoever believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. Whoever loves the Father also loves the child who is born of him.

Und das ist das Zeugnis, daß uns Gott das ewige Leben hat gegeben, und solches Leben ist in seinem Sohn.

En esto conocemos que amamos á los hijos de Dios, cuando amamos á Dios, y guardamos sus mandamientos.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

Wer den Sohn Gottes hat, der hat das Leben; wer den Sohn Gottes nicht hat, der hat das Leben nicht.

Porque este es el amor de Dios, que guardemos sus mandamientos; y sus mandamientos no son penosos.

For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

Solches hab' ich euch geschrieben, die ihr glaubet an den Namen des Sohnes Gottes, auf daß ihr wisset, daß ihr das ewige Leben habet, und daß ihr glaubet an den Namen des Sohnes Gottes.

Porque todo aquello que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo: y esta es la victoria que vence al mundo, nuestra fe.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.

Und das ist die Freudigkeit, die wir haben zu ihm, daß, so wir etwas bitten nach seinem Willen, so höret er uns.

¿Quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios?

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?

Und so wir wissen, daß er uns höret, was wir bitten, so wissen wir, daß wir die Bitten haben, die wir von ihm gebeten haben.

Este es Jesucristo, que vino por agua y sangre: no por agua solamente, sino por agua y sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio: porque el Espíritu es la verdad.

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth.

This is he who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ; not with the water only, but with the water and the blood. It is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth.

So jemand siehet seinen Bruder sündigen, eine Sünde nicht zum Tode, der mag bitten; so wird er geben das Leben denen, die da sündigen nicht zum Tode. Es ist eine Sünde zum Tode; dafür sage ich nicht, daß jemand bitte.

Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo, el Padre, el Verbo, y el Espíritu Santo: y estos tres son uno.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

For there are three who testify:

Alle Untugend ist Sünde; und es ist etliche Sünde nicht zum Tode.

Y tres son los que dan testimonio en la tierra, el Espíritu, y el agua, y la sangre: y estos tres concuerdan en uno.

And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

Wir wissen, daß, wer von Gott geboren ist, der sündiget nicht, sondern wer von Gott geboren ist, der bewahret sich, und der Arge wird ihn nicht antasten.

Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, el testimonio de Dios es mayor; porque éste es el testimonio de Dios, que ha testificado de su Hijo.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his Son.

If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is God’s testimony which he has testified concerning his Son.

Wir wissen, daß wir von Gott sind; und die ganze Welt liegt im Argen.

El que cree en el Hijo de Dios, tiene el testimonio en sí mismo: el que no cree á Dios, le ha hecho mentiroso; porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha testificado de su Hijo.

He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.

He who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself. He who doesn’t believe God has made him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning his Son.

Wir wissen aber, daß der Sohn Gottes kommen ist und hat uns einen Sinn gegeben, daß wir erkennen den Wahrhaftigen und sind in dem Wahrhaftigen, in seinem Sohn Jesu Christo. Dieser ist der wahrhaftige Gott und das ewige Leben.

Y este es el testimonio: Que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna; y esta vida está en su Hijo.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

The testimony is this: that God gave to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la vida: el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios, no tiene la vida.

He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

He who has the Son has the life. He who doesn’t have God’s Son doesn’t have the life.

Der Älteste: der auserwählten Frau und ihren Kindern, die ich liebhabe in der Wahrheit, und nicht allein ich, sondern auch alle, die die Wahrheit erkannt haben,

Estas cosas he escrito á vosotros que creéis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios, para que sepáis que tenéis vida eterna, y para que creáis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios.

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

um der Wahrheit willen, die in uns bleibet und bei uns sein wird in Ewigkeit.

Y esta es la confianza que tenemos en él, que si demandáremos alguna cosa conforme á su voluntad, él nos oye.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

Gnade, Barmherzigkeit, Friede von Gott dem Vater und von dem HERRN Jesu Christo, dem Sohn des Vaters, in der Wahrheit und in der Liebe sei mit euch!

Y si sabemos que él nos oye en cualquiera cosa que demandáremos, sabemos que tenemos las peticiones que le hubiéremos demandado.

And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.

And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.

Ich bin sehr erfreuet, daß ich funden habe unter deinen Kindern, die in der Wahrheit wandeln, wie denn wir ein Gebot vom Vater empfangen haben.

Si alguno viere cometer á su hermano pecado no de muerte, demandará, y se le dará vida; digo á los que pecan no de muerte. Hay pecado de muerte, por el cual yo no digo que ruegue.

If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.

If anyone sees his brother sinning a sin not leading to death, he shall ask, and God will give him life for those who sin not leading to death. There is sin leading to death. I don’t say that he should make a request concerning this.

Und nun bitte ich dich, Frau (nicht als ein neu Gebot schreibe ich dir, sondern das wir gehabt haben von Anfang), daß wir uns untereinander lieben.

Toda maldad es pecado; mas hay pecado no de muerte.

All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death.

Und das ist die Liebe, daß wir wandeln nach seinem Gebot. Das ist das Gebot, wie ihr gehöret habt von Anfang, auf daß ihr daselbst innen wandelt.

Sabemos que cualquiera que es nacido de Dios, no peca; mas el que es engendrado de Dios, se guarda á sí mismo, y el maligno no le toca.

We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn’t touch him.

Denn viel Verführer sind in die Welt kommen, die nicht bekennen Jesum Christum, daß er in das Fleisch kommen ist. Dieser ist der Verführer und der Widerchrist.

Sabemos que somos de Dios, y todo el mundo está puesto en maldad.

And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.

We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Sehet euch vor, daß wir nicht verlieren, was wir erarbeitet haben, sondern vollen Lohn empfangen.

Empero sabemos que el Hijo de Dios es venido, y nos ha dado entendimiento para conocer al que es verdadero: y estamos en el verdadero, en su Hijo Jesucristo. Este es el verdadero Dios, y la vida eterna.

And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

We know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

Wer übertritt und bleibet nicht in der Lehre Christi, der hat keinen Gott; wer in der Lehre Christi bleibet, der hat beide, den Vater und den Sohn.
