Ma pure, per amor di Davide, tuo padre, io non farò questo a' tuoi dì; io lo straccerò d'infra le mani del tuo figliuolo.

Empero no lo haré en tus días, por amor de David tu padre: romperélo de la mano de tu hijo.

Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

Nevertheless, I will not do it in your days, for David your father’s sake; but I will tear it out of your son’s hand.
