Doch will ich nicht das ganze Reich abreiften. Einen Stamm will ich deinem Sohne gehen urn Davids willen, meines Knechts, und urn Jerusalems willen, die ich erwahlet habe.

Sin embargo no romperé todo el reino, sino que daré una tribu á tu hijo, por amor de David mi siervo, y por amor de Jerusalem que yo he elegido.

Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.

However, I will not tear away all the kingdom; but I will give one tribe to your son, for David my servant’s sake, and for Jerusalem’s sake which I have chosen.”
