Car il était arrivé qu’au temps que David était en Edom, lorsque Joab Chef de l’armée monta pour ensevelir ceux qui avaient été tués, comme il tuait tous les mâles d’Edom ;

Porque cuando David estaba en Edom, y subió Joab el general del ejército á enterrar los muertos, y mató á todos los varones de Edom,

For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;
