Or, ceci était advenu : Dans le temps que David exterminait Edom, et que Joab, général de son armée, était à ensevelir les morts, car ils frappaient tous les mâles dans l'Idumée,

Porque cuando David estaba en Edom, y subió Joab el general del ejército á enterrar los muertos, y mató á todos los varones de Edom,

For it came to pass, when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the host was gone up to bury the slain, after he had smitten every male in Edom;

For when David was in Edom, and Joab the captain of the army had gone up to bury the slain, and had struck every male in Edom
