Fue de ese modo que Rezón llegó a ser rey de Siria. Durante todo el reinado de Salomón, Rezón fue enemigo de Israel. De modo que al daño que le causaba Hadad a Israel se unió el de Rezón.

Y fué adversario á Israel todos los días de Salomón; y fué otro mal con el de Adad, porque aborreció á Israel, y reinó sobre la Siria.
