Salomo aber trachtete, Jerobeam zu toten. Da machte sich Jerobeam auf und floh nach Agypten zu Sisak, dem Konige in Agypten; und blieb in Agypten, bis daß Salomo starb.

Procuró por tanto Salomón de matar á Jeroboam, pero levantándose Jeroboam, huyó á Egipto, á Sisac rey de Egipto, y estuvo en Egipto hasta la muerte de Salomón.

Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.
