Und der König Salomo liebte viele fremde Weiber, und zwar neben der Tochter des Pharao: moabitische, ammonitische, edomitische, zidonische, hethitische,

EMPERO el rey Salomón amó, á más de la hija de Faraón, muchas mujeres extranjeras: á las de Moab, á las de Ammón, á las de Idumea, á las de Sidón, y á las Hetheas;

But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

von den Nationen, von welchen Jehova zu den Kindern Israel gesagt hatte: Ihr sollt nicht unter sie kommen, und sie sollen nicht unter euch kommen; gewiß, sie würden euer Herz neigen ihren Göttern nach! An diesen hing Salomo mit Liebe.

Entonces edificó Salomón un alto á Chêmos, abominación de Moab, en el monte que está enfrente de Jerusalem; y á Moloch, abominación de los hijos de Ammón.

Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Because this is done by you, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.

Doch in deinen Tagen will ich es nicht tun, um deines Vaters David willen: aus der Hand deines Sohnes werde ich es reißen;

Empero no lo haré en tus días, por amor de David tu padre: romperélo de la mano de tu hijo.

Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

nur will ich ihm nicht das ganze Königreich entreißen: einen Stamm will ich deinem Sohne geben, um meines Knechtes David willen und um Jerusalems willen, das ich erwählt habe.

Und Jehova erweckte Salomo einen Widersacher, Hadad, den Edomiter; er war vom königlichen Samen in Edom.

And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom.

Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.

Und Gott erweckte ihm einen Widersacher, Reson, den Sohn Eljadas, der von Hadadeser, dem König von Zoba, seinem Herrn, geflohen war.

Despertóle también Dios por adversario á Rezón, hijo de Eliada, el cual había huído de su amo Adad-ezer, rey de Soba.

And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:

Und er sammelte Männer um sich und wurde Oberster einer Schar, als David die Zobaiter tötete; und sie zogen nach Damaskus und wohnten darin, und sie regierten in Damaskus.

Und dies war die Sache, warum er die Hand wider den König erhob: Salomo baute das Millo und schloß die Lücke der Stadt seines Vaters David.

And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:

Und dich will ich nehmen, daß du regierest über alles, was deine Seele begehren wird, und König seiest über Israel.

Und es wird geschehen, wenn du hören wirst auf alles, was ich dir gebiete, und auf meinen Wegen wandeln und tun wirst, was recht ist in meinen Augen, indem du meine Satzungen und meine Gebote beobachtest, wie mein Knecht David getan hat, so werde ich mit dir sein und dir ein beständiges Haus bauen, wie ich es dem David gebaut habe, und werde dir Israel geben;

Y será que, si prestares oído á todas las cosas que te mandare, y anduvieres en mis caminos, é hicieres lo recto delante de mis ojos, guardando mis estatutos y mis mandamientos, como hizo David mi siervo, yo seré contigo, y te edificaré casa firme, como la edifiqué á David, y yo te entregaré á Israel.

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

und ich werde den Samen Davids um deswillen demütigen, doch nicht für immer. -

Und Salomo suchte Jerobeam zu töten; da machte Jerobeam sich auf und entfloh nach Ägypten zu Sisak, dem König von Ägypten; und er war in Ägypten bis zum Tode Salomos.

Procuró por tanto Salomón de matar á Jeroboam, pero levantándose Jeroboam, huyó á Egipto, á Sisac rey de Egipto, y estuvo en Egipto hasta la muerte de Salomón.

Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.

Und das Übrige der Geschichte Salomos und alles, was er getan hat, und seine Weisheit, ist das nicht geschrieben in dem Buche der Geschichte Salomos?
