König Salomoh aber liebte viele ausländische Weiber, und neben der Tochter Pharaos, moabitische, ammonitische, edomitische, zidonische und chethitische.

EMPERO el rey Salomón amó, á más de la hija de Faraón, muchas mujeres extranjeras: á las de Moab, á las de Ammón, á las de Idumea, á las de Sidón, y á las Hetheas;

But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

Von den Völkerschaften, von denen Jehovah zu den Söhnen Israels gesprochen: Ihr sollt nicht zu ihnen eingehen, und sie sollen nicht zu euch kommen; sie würden fürwahr euer Herz neigen ihren Göttern nach. An sie hing sich Salomoh, sie zu lieben.

Gentes de las cuales Jehová había dicho á los hijos de Israel: No entraréis á ellas, ni ellas entrarán á vosotros; porque ciertamente harán inclinar vuestros corazones tras sus dioses. A éstas pues se juntó Salomón con amor.

Entonces edificó Salomón un alto á Chêmos, abominación de Moab, en el monte que está enfrente de Jerusalem; y á Moloch, abominación de los hijos de Ammón.

Und ihm geboten hatte über dieses Wort, daß er nicht wandle anderen Göttern nach. Aber er hatte nicht gehalten, was Jehovah gebot.

Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to thy servant.

Therefore the LORD said to Solomon, “Because this is done by you, and you have not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have commanded you, I will surely tear the kingdom from you, and will give it to your servant.

Doch will Ich in deinen Tagen es nicht tun, um Davids, deines Vaters willen, aus deines Sohnes Hand werde Ich es reißen.

Empero no lo haré en tus días, por amor de David tu padre: romperélo de la mano de tu hijo.

Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father’s sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.

Doch nicht das ganze Reich werde Ich entreißen; einen Stamm will Ich deinem Sohne geben, um Davids, Meines Knechtes willen und um Jerusalem willen, das Ich erwählt habe.

Und Jehovah ließ erstehen wider Salomoh einen Widersacher, den Edomiter Hadad, vom Samen des Königs, der in Edom war.

Y Jehová suscitó un adversario á Salomón, á Adad, Idumeo, de la sangre real, el cual estaba en Edom.

And the LORD stirred up an adversary unto Solomon, Hadad the Edomite: he was of the king’s seed in Edom.

Denn es geschah, als David in Edom war und Joab, der Oberste des Heeres, hinaufzog die Erschlagenen zu begraben, schlug derselbe alles, was männlich war in Edom.

Denn sechs Monate war Joab und ganz Israel dort geblieben, bis er alles Männliche in Edom ausgerottet hatte.

Y respondióle Faraón: ¿Por qué? ¿qué te falta conmigo, que procuras irte á tu tierra? Y él respondió: Nada; con todo, ruégote que me dejes ir.

Then Pharaoh said unto him, But what hast thou lacked with me, that, behold, thou seekest to go to thine own country? And he answered, Nothing: howbeit let me go in any wise.

Then Pharaoh said to him, “But what have you lacked with me, that behold, you seek to go to your own country?” He answered, “Nothing, however only let me depart.”

Und Gott ließ auch zum Widersacher gegen ihn erstehen Reson, den Sohn Eljadas, der von Hadadeser, dem Könige von Zobah, seinem Herrn, entwichen war.

Despertóle también Dios por adversario á Rezón, hijo de Eliada, el cual había huído de su amo Adad-ezer, rey de Soba.

And God stirred him up another adversary, Rezon the son of Eliadah, which fled from his lord Hadadezer king of Zobah:

Und der zog Männer zu sich zusammen und ward der Oberste eines Kriegshaufens, als David jene erwürgte; und sie gingen nach Damask und wohnten darin, und sie machten ihn zum König in Damask.

Und das ist die Sache, darum er die Hand emporhob wider den König: Salomoh baute das Millo und schloß ein die Lücke der Stadt Davids, seines Vaters.

Und es geschah um jene Zeit, daß Jerobeam aus Jerusalem hinausging, und Achijah aus Schiloh, der Prophet fand ihn auf dem Wege, und jener hatte sich mit einem neuen Gewand bedeckt, und die zwei waren allein auf dem Felde.

Aconteció pues en aquel tiempo, que saliendo Jeroboam de Jerusalem, topóle en el camino el profeta Ahías Silonita; y él estaba cubierto con una capa nueva; y estaban ellos dos solos en el campo.

Und sprach zu Jerobeam: Nimm dir zehn Lappen; denn so spricht Jehovah, der Gott Israels: Siehe, Ich reiße das Königtum aus der Hand Salomohs, und gebe dir die zehn Stämme.

And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:

Und der eine Stamm soll ihm sein, um Meines Knechtes David und der Stadt Jerusalem willen, die Ich aus allen Stämmen Israels erwählt habe.

(Y él tendrá una tribu, por amor de David mi siervo, y por amor de Jerusalem, ciudad que yo he elegido de todas las tribus de Israel:)

Weil sie Mich verlassen und Aschthoreth, die Gottheit der Zidonier, den Kemosch, Moabs Gott, und Milkom, den Gott der Söhne Ammons, angebetet und nicht in Meinen Wegen gewandelt, daß sie täten, was recht in Meinen Augen ist, und Meine Satzungen und Meine Rechte, wie David, sein Vater.

“‘However, I will not take the whole kingdom out of his hand, but I will make him prince all the days of his life for David my servant’s sake whom I chose, who kept my commandments and my statutes,

Aber aus der Hand seines Sohnes nehme Ich das Königtum, und gebe dir die zehn Stämme.

And unto his son will I give one tribe, that David my servant may have a light alway before me in Jerusalem, the city which I have chosen me to put my name there.

Und dich nehme Ich, daß du regierst über alles, was deine Seele gelüstet, und du sollst König sein über Israel.

And I will take thee, and thou shalt reign according to all that thy soul desireth, and shalt be king over Israel.

Und es soll sein, wenn du hörst auf alles, was Ich dir gebiete, und in Meinen Wegen wandelst und tust, was recht in Meinen Augen ist, so daß du Meine Satzungen und Meine Gebote hältst, wie David, Mein Knecht, getan: So will Ich mit dir sein und dir ein bewährtes Haus bauen, wie Ich dem David baute, und will dir Israel geben.

Y será que, si prestares oído á todas las cosas que te mandare, y anduvieres en mis caminos, é hicieres lo recto delante de mis ojos, guardando mis estatutos y mis mandamientos, como hizo David mi siervo, yo seré contigo, y te edificaré casa firme, como la edifiqué á David, y yo te entregaré á Israel.

And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

Den Samen Davids aber will Ich darob demütigen, doch nicht für alle Tage.

Y yo afligiré la simiente de David á causa de esto, mas no para siempre.

And I will for this afflict the seed of David, but not for ever.

Und Salomoh suchte den Jerobeam zu töten, aber Jerobeam machte sich auf und entwich nach Ägypten zu Schischak, dem König Ägyptens; und war in Ägypten bis zum Tode Salomohs.

Procuró por tanto Salomón de matar á Jeroboam, pero levantándose Jeroboam, huyó á Egipto, á Sisac rey de Egipto, y estuvo en Egipto hasta la muerte de Salomón.

Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon.

Und die übrige Geschichte Salomohs, und alles, was er getan, und seine Weisheit, sind sie nicht geschrieben im Buche der Worte Salomohs?
