18Después el rey Roboam envió a Adoram, quien estaba a cargo del tributo. Pero todo Israel lo apedreó de tal modo que murió. El mismo rey Roboam tuvo que apresurarse a subir en una carroza para huir a Jerusalén.

18Then king Rehoboam sent Adoram, who was over the tribute; and all Israel stoned him with stones, that he died. Therefore king Rehoboam made speed to get him up to his chariot, to flee to Jerusalem.
