Und der Konig Rehabeam hielt einen Rat mit den Altesten, die vor seinem Vater Salomo stunden, da er lebte, und sprach: Wie ratet ihr, daß wir diesem Volk eine Antwort geben?

Entonces el rey Roboam tomó consejo con los ancianos que habían estado delante de Salomón su padre cuando vivía, y dijo: ¿Cómo aconsejáis vosotros que responda á este pueblo?

And king Rehoboam consulted with the old men, that stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, and said, How do ye advise that I may answer this people?

King Rehoboam took counsel with the old men who had stood before Solomon his father while he yet lived, saying, “What counsel do you give me to answer these people?”
