1 Reyes 13

Voici, un homme de Dieu arriva de Juda à Béthel, par la parole de l’Éternel, pendant que Jéroboam se tenait à l’autel pour brûler des parfums.

Y HE aquí que un varón de Dios por palabra de Jehová vino de Judá á Beth-el; y estando Jeroboam al altar para quemar perfumes,

And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Beth-el: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

Behold, a man of God came out of Judah by the LORD’s word to Bethel; and Jeroboam was standing by the altar to burn incense.

Il cria contre l’autel, par la parole de l’Éternel, et il dit: Autel! Autel! Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Voici, il naîtra un fils à la maison de David; son nom sera Josias; il immolera sur toi les prêtres des hauts lieux qui brûlent sur toi des parfums, et l’on brûlera sur toi des ossements d’hommes!

El clamó contra el altar por palabra de Jehová, y dijo: Altar, altar, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí que á la casa de David nacerá un hijo, llamado Josías, el cual sacrificará sobre ti á los sacerdotes de los altos que queman sobre ti perfumes; y sobre ti quemarán huesos de hombres.

And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men’s bones shall be burnt upon thee.

He cried against the altar by the LORD’s word, and said, “Altar! Altar! The LORD says: ‘Behold, a son will be born to David’s house, Josiah by name. On you he will sacrifice the priests of the high places who burn incense on you, and they will burn men’s bones on you.’”

Et le même jour il donna un signe, en disant: C’est ici le signe que l’Éternel a parlé: Voici, l’autel se fendra, et la cendre qui est dessus sera répandue.

Y aquel mismo día dió una señal, diciendo: Esta es la señal de que Jehová ha hablado: he aquí que el altar se quebrará, y la ceniza que sobre él está se derramará.

And he gave a sign the same day, saying, This is the sign which the LORD hath spoken; Behold, the altar shall be rent, and the ashes that are upon it shall be poured out.

He gave a sign the same day, saying, “This is the sign which the LORD has spoken: Behold, the altar will be split apart, and the ashes that are on it will be poured out.”

Lorsque le roi entendit la parole que l’homme de Dieu avait criée contre l’autel de Béthel, il avança la main de dessus l’autel, en disant: Saisissez-le! Et la main que Jéroboam avait étendue contre lui devint sèche, et il ne put la ramener à soi.

Y como el rey Jeroboam oyó la palabra del varón de Dios, que había clamado contra el altar de Beth-el, extendiendo su mano desde el altar, dijo: ¡Prendedle! Mas la mano que había extendido contra él, se le secó, que no la pudo tornar á sí.

And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Beth-el, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.

When the king heard the saying of the man of God, which he cried against the altar in Bethel, Jeroboam put out his hand from the altar, saying, “Seize him!” His hand, which he put out against him, dried up, so that he could not draw it back again to himself.

L’autel se fendit, et la cendre qui était dessus fut répandue, selon le signe qu’avait donné l’homme de Dieu, par la parole de l’Éternel.

Y el altar se rompió, y derramóse la ceniza del altar, conforme á la señal que el varón de Dios había dado por palabra de Jehová.

The altar also was rent, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the word of the LORD.

The altar was also split apart, and the ashes poured out from the altar, according to the sign which the man of God had given by the LORD’s word.

Alors le roi prit la parole, et dit à l’homme de Dieu: Implore l’Éternel, ton Dieu, et prie pour moi, afin que je puisse retirer ma main. L’homme de Dieu implora l’Éternel, et le roi put retirer sa main, qui fut comme auparavant.

Entonces respondiendo el rey, dijo al varón de Dios: Te pido que ruegues á la faz de Jehová tu Dios, y ora por mí, que mi mano me sea restituída. Y el varón de Dios oró á la faz de Jehová, y la mano del rey se le recuperó, y tornóse como antes.

And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Intreat now the face of the LORD thy God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored me again. And the man of God besought the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored him again, and became as it was before.

The king answered the man of God, “Now intercede for the favor of the LORD your God, and pray for me, that my hand may be restored to me.” The man of God interceded with the LORD, and the king’s hand was restored to him, and became as it was before.

Le roi dit à l’homme de Dieu: Entre avec moi dans la maison, tu prendras quelque nourriture, et je te donnerai un présent.

Y el rey dijo al varón de Dios: Ven conmigo á casa, y comerás, y yo te daré un presente.

And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.

The king said to the man of God, “Come home with me and refresh yourself, and I will give you a reward.”

L’homme de Dieu dit au roi: Quand tu me donnerais la moitié de ta maison, je n’entrerais pas avec toi. Je ne mangerai point de pain, et je ne boirai point d’eau dans ce lieu-ci;

Mas el varón de Dios dijo al rey: Si me dieses la mitad de tu casa, no iría contigo, ni comería pan ni bebería agua en este lugar;

And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:

The man of God said to the king, “Even if you gave me half of your house, I would not go in with you, neither would I eat bread nor drink water in this place;

car cet ordre m’a été donné, par la parole de l’Éternel: Tu ne mangeras point de pain et tu ne boiras point d’eau, et tu ne prendras pas à ton retour le chemin par lequel tu seras allé.

Porque así me está mandado por palabra de Jehová, diciendo: No comas pan, ni bebas agua, ni vuelvas por el camino que fueres.

For so was it charged me by the word of the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.

for so was it commanded me by the LORD’s word, saying, ‘You shall eat no bread, drink no water, and don’t return by the way that you came.’”

Et il s’en alla par un autre chemin, il ne prit pas à son retour le chemin par lequel il était venu à Béthel.

Fuése pues por otro camino, y no volvió por el camino por donde había venido á Beth-el.

So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Beth-el.

So he went another way, and didn’t return by the way that he came to Bethel.

Or il y avait un vieux prophète qui demeurait à Béthel. Ses fils vinrent lui raconter toutes les choses que l’homme de Dieu avait faites à Béthel ce jour-là, et les paroles qu’il avait dites au roi. Lorsqu’ils en eurent fait le récit à leur père,

Moraba á la sazón en Beth-el un viejo profeta, al cual vino su hijo, y contóle todo lo que el varón de Dios había hecho aquel día en Beth-el: contáronle también á su padre las palabras que había hablado al rey.

Now there dwelt an old prophet in Beth-el; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Beth-el: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father.

Now an old prophet lived in Bethel, and one of his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel. They also told their father the words which he had spoken to the king.

il leur dit: Par quel chemin s’en est-il allé? Ses fils avaient vu par quel chemin s’en était allé l’homme de Dieu qui était venu de Juda.

Y su padre les dijo: ¿Por qué camino fué? Y sus hijos le mostraron el camino por donde se había tornado el varón de Dios, que había venido de Judá.

And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

Their father said to them, “Which way did he go?” Now his sons had seen which way the man of God went, who came from Judah.

Et il dit à ses fils: Sellez-moi l’âne. Ils lui sellèrent l’âne, et il monta dessus.

Y él dijo á sus hijos: Enalbardadme el asno. Y ellos le enalbardaron el asno, y subió en él.

And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

He said to his sons, “Saddle the donkey for me.” So they saddled the donkey for him; and he rode on it.

Il alla après l’homme de Dieu, et il le trouva assis sous un térébinthe. Il lui dit: Es-tu l’homme de Dieu qui est venu de Juda? Il répondit: Je le suis.

Y yendo tras el varón de Dios, hallóle que estaba sentado debajo de un alcornoque: y díjole: ¿Eres tú el varón de Dios que viniste de Judá? Y él dijo: Yo soy.

And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

He went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak. He said to him, “Are you the man of God who came from Judah?” He said, “I am.”

Alors il lui dit: Viens avec moi à la maison, et tu prendras quelque nourriture.

Díjole entonces: Ven conmigo á casa, y come del pan.

Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread.

Then he said to him, “Come home with me and eat bread.”

Mais il répondit: Je ne puis ni retourner avec toi, ni entrer chez toi. Je ne mangerai point de pain, je ne boirai point d’eau avec toi en ce lieu-ci;

Mas él respondió: No podré volver contigo, ni iré contigo; ni tampoco comeré pan ni beberé agua contigo en este lugar;

And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

He said, “I may not return with you, nor go in with you. I will not eat bread or drink water with you in this place.

car il m’a été dit, par la parole de l’Éternel: Tu n’y mangeras point de pain et tu n’y boiras point d’eau, et tu ne prendras pas à ton retour le chemin par lequel tu seras allé.

Porque por palabra de Dios me ha sido dicho: No comas pan ni bebas agua allí, ni vuelvas por el camino que fueres.

For it was said to me by the word of the LORD, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

For it was said to me by the LORD’s word, ‘You shall eat no bread or drink water there, and don’t turn again to go by the way that you came.’”

Et il lui dit: Moi aussi, je suis prophète comme toi; et un ange m’a parlé de la part de l’Éternel, et m’a dit: Ramène-le avec toi dans ta maison, et qu’il mange du pain et boive de l’eau. Il lui mentait.

Y el otro le dijo: Yo también soy profeta como tú, y un ángel me ha hablado por palabra de Jehová, diciendo: Vuélvele contigo á tu casa, para que coma pan y beba agua. Empero mintióle.

He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the LORD, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

He said to him, “I also am a prophet as you are; and an angel spoke to me by the LORD’s word, saying, ‘Bring him back with you into your house, that he may eat bread and drink water.’” He lied to him.

L’homme de Dieu retourna avec lui, et il mangea du pain et but de l’eau dans sa maison.

Entonces volvió con él, y comió del pan en su casa, y bebió del agua.

So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

So he went back with him, ate bread in his house, and drank water.

Comme ils étaient assis à table, la parole de l’Éternel fut adressée au prophète qui l’avait ramené.

Y aconteció que, estando ellos á la mesa, fué palabra de Jehová al profeta que le había hecho volver;

And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the LORD came unto the prophet that brought him back:

As they sat at the table, the LORD’s word came to the prophet who brought him back;

Et il cria à l’homme de Dieu qui était venu de Juda: Ainsi parle l’Éternel: Parce que tu as été rebelle à l’ordre de l’Éternel, et que tu n’as pas observé le commandement que l’Éternel, ton Dieu, t’avait donné;

Y clamó al varón de Dios que había venido de Judá, diciendo: Así dijo Jehová: Por cuanto has sido rebelde al dicho de Jehová, y no guardaste el mandamiento que Jehová tu Dios te había prescrito,

And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,

and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying, “The LORD says, ‘Because you have been disobedient to the LORD’s word, and have not kept the commandment which the LORD your God commanded you,

parce que tu es retourné, et que tu as mangé du pain et bu de l’eau dans le lieu dont il t’avait dit: Tu n’y mangeras point de pain et tu n’y boiras point d’eau, ton cadavre n’entrera pas dans le sépulcre de tes pères.

Sino que volviste, y comiste del pan y bebiste del agua en el lugar donde Jehová te había dicho no comieses pan ni bebieses agua, no entrará tu cuerpo en el sepulcro de tus padres.

But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers.

but came back, and have eaten bread and drank water in the place of which he said to you, “Eat no bread, and drink no water,” your body will not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”

Et quand le prophète qu’il avait ramené eut mangé du pain et qu’il eut bu de l’eau, il sella l’âne pour lui.

Y como hubo comido del pan y bebido, el profeta que le había hecho volver le enalbardó un asno;

And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back.

After he had eaten bread and after he drank, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.

L’homme de Dieu s’en alla: et il fut rencontré dans le chemin par un lion qui le tua. Son cadavre était étendu dans le chemin; l’âne resta près de lui, et le lion se tint à côté du cadavre.

Y yéndose, topóle un león en el camino, y matóle; y su cuerpo estaba echado en el camino, y el asno estaba junto á él, y el león también estaba junto al cuerpo.

And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase.

When he had gone, a lion met him by the way and killed him. His body was thrown on the path, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the body.

Et voici, des gens qui passaient virent le cadavre étendu dans le chemin et le lion se tenant à côté du cadavre; et ils en parlèrent à leur arrivée dans la ville où demeurait le vieux prophète.

Y he aquí unos que pasaban, y vieron el cuerpo que estaba echado en el camino, y el león que estaba junto al cuerpo: y vinieron, y dijéronlo en la ciudad donde el viejo profeta habitaba.

And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

Behold, men passed by and saw the body thrown on the path, and the lion standing by the body; and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet lived.

Lorsque le prophète qui avait ramené du chemin l’homme de Dieu l’eut appris, il dit: C’est l’homme de Dieu qui a été rebelle à l’ordre de l’Éternel, et l’Éternel l’a livré au lion, qui l’a déchiré et l’a fait mourir, selon la parole que l’Éternel lui avait dite.

Y oyéndolo el profeta que le había vuelto del camino, dijo: El varón de Dios es, que fué rebelde al dicho de Jehová: por tanto Jehová le ha entregado al león, que le ha quebrantado y muerto, conforme á la palabra de Jehová que él le dijo.

And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard thereof, he said, It is the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him.

When the prophet who brought him back from the way heard of it, he said, “It is the man of God who was disobedient to the LORD’s word. Therefore the LORD has delivered him to the lion, which has mauled him and slain him, according to the LORD’s word which he spoke to him.”

Puis, s’adressant à ses fils, il dit: Sellez-moi l’âne. Ils le sellèrent,

Y habló á sus hijos, y díjoles: Enalbardadme un asno. Y ellos se lo enalbardaron.

And he spake to his sons, saying, Saddle me the ass. And they saddled him.

He said to his sons, saying, “Saddle the donkey for me,” and they saddled it.

et il partit. Il trouva le cadavre étendu dans le chemin, et l’âne et le lion qui se tenaient à côté du cadavre. Le lion n’avait pas dévoré le cadavre et n’avait pas déchiré l’âne.

Y él fué, y halló su cuerpo tendido en el camino, y el asno y el león estaban junto al cuerpo: el león no había comido el cuerpo, ni dañado al asno.

And he went and found his carcase cast in the way, and the ass and the lion standing by the carcase: the lion had not eaten the carcase, nor torn the ass.

He went and found his body thrown on the path, and the donkey and the lion standing by the body. The lion had not eaten the body nor mauled the donkey.

Le prophète releva le cadavre de l’homme de Dieu, le plaça sur l’âne, et le ramena; et le vieux prophète rentra dans la ville pour le pleurer et pour l’enterrer.

Y tomando el profeta el cuerpo del varón de Dios, púsolo sobre el asno, y llevóselo. Y el profeta viejo vino á la ciudad, para endecharle y enterrarle.

And the prophet took up the carcase of the man of God, and laid it upon the ass, and brought it back: and the old prophet came to the city, to mourn and to bury him.

The prophet took up the body of the man of God, and laid it on the donkey, and brought it back. He came to the city of the old prophet to mourn, and to bury him.

Il mit son cadavre dans le sépulcre, et l’on pleura sur lui, en disant: Hélas, mon frère!

Y puso su cuerpo en su sepulcro; y endecháronle, diciendo: ¡Ay, hermano mío!

And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother!

He laid his body in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, “Alas, my brother!”

Après l’avoir enterré, il dit à ses fils: Quand je serai mort, vous m’enterrerez dans le sépulcre où est enterré l’homme de Dieu, vous déposerez mes os à côté de ses os.

Y después que le hubieron enterrado, habló á sus hijos, diciendo: Cuando yo muriere, enterradme en el sepulcro en que está sepultado el varón de Dios; poned mis huesos junto á los suyos.

And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:

After he had buried him, he spoke to his sons, saying, “When I am dead, bury me in the tomb in which the man of God is buried. Lay my bones beside his bones.

Car elle s’accomplira, la parole qu’il a criée, de la part de l’Éternel, contre l’autel de Béthel et contre toutes les maisons des hauts lieux qui sont dans les villes de Samarie.

Porque sin duda vendrá lo que él dijo á voces por palabra de Jehová contra el altar que está en Beth-el, y contra todas las casas de los altos que están en las ciudades de Samaria.

For the saying which he cried by the word of the LORD against the altar in Beth-el, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, shall surely come to pass.

For the saying which he cried by the LORD’s word against the altar in Bethel, and against all the houses of the high places which are in the cities of Samaria, will surely happen.”

Après cet événement, Jéroboam ne se détourna point de sa mauvaise voie. Il créa de nouveau des prêtres des hauts lieux pris parmi tout le peuple; quiconque en avait le désir, il le consacrait prêtre des hauts lieux.

Después de esto no se tornó Jeroboam de su mal camino: antes volvió á hacer sacerdotes de los altos de la clase del pueblo, y quien quería se consagraba, y era de los sacerdotes de los altos.

After this thing Jeroboam returned not from his evil way, but made again of the lowest of the people priests of the high places: whosoever would, he consecrated him, and he became one of the priests of the high places.

After this thing, Jeroboam didn’t turn from his evil way, but again made priests of the high places from among all the people. Whoever wanted to, he consecrated him, that there might be priests of the high places.

Ce fut là une occasion de péché pour la maison de Jéroboam, et c’est pour cela qu’elle a été exterminée et détruite de dessus la face de la terre.

Y esto fué causa de pecado á la casa de Jeroboam; por lo cual fué cortada y raída de sobre la haz de la tierra.

And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.

This thing became sin to the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off and to destroy it from off the surface of the earth.
