Y el Señor Dios batirá a Israel, al modo que una caña suele ser batida de las aguas; arrancará a Israel de esta buena tierra que dio a sus padres, y lo arrojará cautivo más allá del río Eufrates, en castigo de haber consagrado bosques a los ídolos para irritar al Señor.
Y Jehová sacudirá á Israel, al modo que la caña se agita en las aguas: y él arrancará á Israel de esta buena tierra que había dado á sus padres, y esparcirálos de la otra parte del río, por cuanto han hecho sus bosques, enojando á Jehová.
For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.
