E si edificarono anch'essi degli alti luoghi, e si fecero delle statue, e de' boschi, sopra ogni alto colle, e sotto ogni albero verdeggiante.

Porque ellos también se edificaron altos, estatuas, y bosques, en todo collado alto, y debajo de todo árbol frondoso:

For they also built them high places, and images, and groves, on every high hill, and under every green tree.

For they also built for themselves high places, sacred pillars, and Asherah poles on every high hill and under every green tree.
