En ce temps-là Abija fils de Jéroboam devint malade.

EN aquel tiempo Abías hijo de Jeroboam cayó enfermo.

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.

Et Jéroboam dit à sa femme : Lève-toi maintenant, et te déguise, en sorte qu’on ne connaisse point que tu es la femme de Jéroboam, et va-t’en à Silo ; là est Ahija le Prophète, qui m’a dit que je serais Roi sur ce peuple.

Y dijo Jeroboam á su mujer: Levántate ahora, disfrázate, porque no te conozcan que eres la mujer de Jeroboam, y ve á Silo; que allá está Ahías profeta, el que me dijo que yo había de ser rey sobre este pueblo.

And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

Et prends en ta main dix pains, et des gâteaux, et un vase plein de miel, et entre chez lui ; il te déclarera ce qui doit arriver à ce jeune garçon.

Y toma en tu mano diez panes, y turrones, y una botija de miel, y ve á él; que te declare lo que ha de ser de este mozo.

And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.

Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”

La femme de Jéroboam fit donc ainsi ; car elle se leva, et s’en alla à Silo, et entra dans la maison d’Ahija. Or Ahija ne pouvait voir, parce que ses yeux étaient obscurcis, à cause de sa vieillesse.

Y la mujer de Jeroboam hízolo así; y levantóse, y fué á Silo, y vino á casa de Ahías. Y no podía ya ver Ahías, que sus ojos se habían oscurecido á causa de su vejez.

And Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.

Et l’Eternel dit à Ahija : Voilà la femme de Jéroboam, qui vient pour s’enquérir de toi touchant son fils, parce qu’il est malade ; tu lui diras telles et telles chose ; quand elle entrera elle fera semblant d’être quelque autre.

Mas Jehová había dicho á Ahías: He aquí que la mujer de Jeroboam vendrá á consultarte por su hijo, que está enfermo: así y así le has de responder; pues será que cuando ella viniere, vendrá disimulada.

And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.

The LORD said to Ahijah, “Behold, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Tell her such and such; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

Aussitôt donc qu’Ahija eut entendu le bruit de ses pieds, comme elle entrait à la porte, il dit : Entre, femme de Jéroboam. Pourquoi fais-tu semblant d’être quelque autre ? Je suis envoyé vers toi pour t’annoncer des choses dures.

Y como Ahías oyó el sonido de sus pies cuando entraba por la puerta, dijo: Entra, mujer de Jeroboam; ¿por qué te finges otra? empero yo soy enviado á ti con revelación dura.

And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.

So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, Jeroboam’s wife! Why do you pretend to be another? For I am sent to you with heavy news.

Va, et dis à Jéroboam : Ainsi a dit l’Eternel le Dieu d’Israël ; parce que je t’ai élevé du milieu du peuple, et que je t’ai établi pour Conducteur de mon peuple d’Israël ;

Ve, y di á Jeroboam: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Por cuanto yo te levanté de en medio del pueblo, y te hice príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘The LORD, the God of Israel, says: “Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you prince over my people Israel,

Et que j’ai déchiré le Royaume de la maison de David, et que je te l’ai donné ; mais parce que tu n’as point été comme David mon serviteur, qui a gardé mes commandements, et qui a marché après moi de tout son coeur, faisant seulement ce qui est droit devant moi ;

Y rompí el reino de la casa de David, y te lo entregué á ti; y tú no has sido como David mi siervo, que guardó mis mandamientos y anduvo en pos de mí con todo su corazón, haciendo solamente lo derecho delante de mis ojos;

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;

and tore the kingdom away from David’s house, and gave it to you; and yet you have not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in my eyes,

Et qu’en faisant ce que tu as fait, tu as fait pis que tous ceux qui ont été devant toi ; vu que tu t’en es allé, et t’es fait d’autres dieux, et des images de fonte, pour m’irriter, et que tu m’as rejeté derrière ton dos ;

Antes hiciste lo malo sobre todos los que han sido antes de ti: que fuiste y te hiciste dioses ajenos y de fundición para enojarme, y á mí me echaste tras tus espaldas:

But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

but have done evil above all who were before you, and have gone and made for yourself other gods, molten images, to provoke me to anger, and have cast me behind your back,

A cause de cela, voici, je m’en vais amener du mal sur la maison de Jéroboam, et je retrancherai ce qui appartient à Jéroboam, depuis l’homme jusqu’à un chien, tant ce qui est serré, que ce qui est délaissé en Israël, et je raclerai la maison de Jéroboam, comme on racle la fiente, jusqu’à ce qu’il n’en reste plus.

Por tanto, he aquí que yo traigo mal sobre la casa de Jeroboam, y yo talaré de Jeroboam todo meante á la pared, así el guardado como el desamparado en Israel; y barreré la posteridad de la casa de Jeroboam, como es barrido el estiércol, hasta que sea acabada.

Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.

therefore, behold, I will bring evil on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam everyone who urinates on a wall, he who is shut up and he who is left at large in Israel, and will utterly sweep away the house of Jeroboam, as a man sweeps away dung until it is all gone.

El que muriere de los de Jeroboam en la ciudad, le comerán los perros; y el que muriere en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo; porque Jehová lo ha dicho.

Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.

The dogs will eat whoever belongs to Jeroboam who dies in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat whoever dies in the field, for the LORD has spoken it.”’

Toi donc lève-toi, et t’en va en ta maison, et aussitôt que tes pieds entreront dans la ville, l’enfant mourra.

Y tú levántate, y vete á tu casa; que en entrando tu pie en la ciudad, morirá el mozo.

Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.

Et tout Israël mènera deuil sur lui, et l’ensevelira ; car lui seul de la famille de Jéroboam entrera au sépulcre, parce que l’Eternel le Dieu d’Israël a trouvé quelque chose de bon en lui seul de toute la maison de Jéroboam.

Y todo Israel lo endechará, y le enterrarán; porque sólo él de los de Jeroboam entrará en sepultura; por cuanto se ha hallado en él alguna cosa buena de Jehová Dios de Israel, en la casa de Jeroboam.

And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.

Et l’Eternel s’établira un Roi sur Israël, qui en ce jour-là retranchera la maison de Jéroboam ; et quoi ? même dans peu.

Y Jehová se levantará un rey sobre Israel, el cual talará la casa de Jeroboam en este día; ¿y qué, si ahora?

Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.

Et l’Eternel frappera Israël, l’agitant comme le roseau est agité dans l’eau ; et il arrachera Israël de dessus cette bonne terre qu’il a donnée à leurs pères, et les dispersera au delà du fleuve ; parce qu’ils ont fait leurs bocages, irritant l’Eternel.

Y Jehová sacudirá á Israel, al modo que la caña se agita en las aguas: y él arrancará á Israel de esta buena tierra que había dado á sus padres, y esparcirálos de la otra parte del río, por cuanto han hecho sus bosques, enojando á Jehová.

For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

For the LORD will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and he will root up Israel out of this good land which he gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River, because they have made their Asherah poles, provoking the LORD to anger.

Et l’Eternel abandonnera Israël à cause des péchés de Jéroboam, par lesquels il a péché, et fait pécher Israël.

Y él entregará á Israel por los pecados de Jeroboam, el cual pecó, y ha hecho pecar á Israel.

And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.

Alors la femme de Jéroboam se leva, et s’en alla, et vint à Tirtsa : et comme elle mettait le pied sur le seuil de la maison, le jeune garçon mourut.

Entonces la mujer de Jeroboam se levantó, y se fué, y vino á Thirsa: y entrando ella por el umbral de la casa, el mozo murió.

Et on l’ensevelit, et tout Israël mena deuil sur lui, selon la parole de l’Eternel, laquelle il avait proférée par son serviteur Ahija le Prophète.

Y enterráronlo, y endechólo todo Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, que él había hablado por mano de su siervo Ahías profeta.

And they buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servant Ahijah the prophet.

Et quant au reste des faits de Jéroboam, comment il a fait la guerre, et comment il a régné, voilà ils sont écrits au Livre des Chroniques des Rois d’Israël.

Et Juda aussi fit ce qui déplaît à l’Eternel, et par leurs péchés qu’ils commirent ils l’émurent à jalousie plus que leurs pères n’avaient fait dans tout ce qu’ils avaient fait.

Or il arriva qu’en la cinquième année du Roi Roboam, Sisak, Roi d’Egypte, monta contre Jérusalem ;

And he took away the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king’s house; he even took away all: and he took away all the shields of gold which Solomon had made.

Et le Roi Roboam fit des boucliers d’airain au lieu de ceux-là, et les mit entre les mains des capitaines des archers qui gardaient la porte de la maison du Roi.

Y en lugar de ellos hizo el rey Roboam escudos de metal, y diólos en manos de los capitanes de los de la guardia, quienes custodiaban la puerta de la casa real.

And king Rehoboam made in their stead brasen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king’s house.
