Naquele tempo Abias, filho de Jeroboão, ficou muito doente.

EN aquel tiempo Abías hijo de Jeroboam cayó enfermo.

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.

Jeroboão disse para sua esposa: "Por favor, levanta-te e disfarça-te, para que não sejas reconhecida como minha esposa, e vá a Siló, porque o profeta Aías está lá; ele disse a meu respeito, dizendo que eu seria rei sobre este povo.

Y dijo Jeroboam á su mujer: Levántate ahora, disfrázate, porque no te conozcan que eres la mujer de Jeroboam, y ve á Silo; que allá está Ahías profeta, el que me dijo que yo había de ser rey sobre este pueblo.

And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

Jeroboam said to his wife, “Please get up and disguise yourself, so that you won’t be recognized as Jeroboam’s wife. Go to Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who said that I would be king over this people.

Leva contigo dez pães, alguns bolos e uma vasilha de mel e vai até Aías. Ele dirá o que acontecerá com a criança".

Y toma en tu mano diez panes, y turrones, y una botija de miel, y ve á él; que te declare lo que ha de ser de este mozo.

And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.

Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”

A esposa de Jeroboão fez isso; ela levantou e foi para Siló e entrou na casa de Aías. Entretanto Aías não enxergava; ele perdeu a visão devido a sua idade.

Y la mujer de Jeroboam hízolo así; y levantóse, y fué á Silo, y vino á casa de Ahías. Y no podía ya ver Ahías, que sus ojos se habían oscurecido á causa de su vejez.

And Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.

Yahweh disse para Aías: "Vê, a mulher de Jeroboão está vindo para consultar-te sobre o filho dela que está doente. Tu lhe falarás assim e assim, porque, quando ela entrar, fingirá ser outra mulher".

Mas Jehová había dicho á Ahías: He aquí que la mujer de Jeroboam vendrá á consultarte por su hijo, que está enfermo: así y así le has de responder; pues será que cuando ella viniere, vendrá disimulada.

And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.

The LORD said to Ahijah, “Behold, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Tell her such and such; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

Quando Aías ouviu o som dos passos dela entrando pela porta, ele disse: "Entre, mulher de Jeroboão. Por que finges ser outra pessoa que não és? Eu fui enviado a ti com más notícias.

Y como Ahías oyó el sonido de sus pies cuando entraba por la puerta, dijo: Entra, mujer de Jeroboam; ¿por qué te finges otra? empero yo soy enviado á ti con revelación dura.

And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.

So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, Jeroboam’s wife! Why do you pretend to be another? For I am sent to you with heavy news.

Vai, dize a Jeroboão que Yahweh, o Deus de Israel, diz: 'Eu te exaltei entre o povo e te constituí líder sobre o Meu povo, Israel.

Ve, y di á Jeroboam: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Por cuanto yo te levanté de en medio del pueblo, y te hice príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘The LORD, the God of Israel, says: “Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you prince over my people Israel,

E resgatei o reino da família de Davi e o dei a ti, mas tu não tens sido como Meu servo Davi, que guardou os Meus mandamentos e Me seguiu de todo o coração, para fazer somente o que era reto aos Meus olhos.

Y rompí el reino de la casa de David, y te lo entregué á ti; y tú no has sido como David mi siervo, que guardó mis mandamientos y anduvo en pos de mí con todo su corazón, haciendo solamente lo derecho delante de mis ojos;

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;

and tore the kingdom away from David’s house, and gave it to you; and yet you have not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in my eyes,

Em vez disso, tens feito o mal, pior do que os que foram antes de ti. Fizeste outros deuses e imagens de fundição para provocar-Me a ira, e Me deste as costas.

Antes hiciste lo malo sobre todos los que han sido antes de ti: que fuiste y te hiciste dioses ajenos y de fundición para enojarme, y á mí me echaste tras tus espaldas:

But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

Por isso, trarei desastre à tua família; exterminarei em Israel todo menino, escravo ou livre, e removerei completamente tua família, como alguém que queima estrume, até que desapareça.

Por tanto, he aquí que yo traigo mal sobre la casa de Jeroboam, y yo talaré de Jeroboam todo meante á la pared, así el guardado como el desamparado en Israel; y barreré la posteridad de la casa de Jeroboam, como es barrido el estiércol, hasta que sea acabada.

Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.

therefore, behold, I will bring evil on the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam everyone who urinates on a wall, he who is shut up and he who is left at large in Israel, and will utterly sweep away the house of Jeroboam, as a man sweeps away dung until it is all gone.

Qualquer um pertencente a tua família que morrer na cidade será comido pelos cães, e quem morrer no campo, será comido pelos passáros dos céus, porque eu, Yahweh, disse isso'.

El que muriere de los de Jeroboam en la ciudad, le comerán los perros; y el que muriere en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo; porque Jehová lo ha dicho.

Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.

The dogs will eat whoever belongs to Jeroboam who dies in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat whoever dies in the field, for the LORD has spoken it.”’

Então levanta-te, esposa de Jeroboão, e volta para tua casa; quando os teus pés entrarem na cidade, a criança morrerá.

Y tú levántate, y vete á tu casa; que en entrando tu pie en la ciudad, morirá el mozo.

Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.

Todo o Israel chorará por ele, e o sepultará. Ele é o único da família de Jeroboão que será sepultado, porque, somente nele, da casa de Jeroboão, foi encontrada alguma coisa boa aos olhos de Yahweh, o Deus de Israel.

Y todo Israel lo endechará, y le enterrarán; porque sólo él de los de Jeroboam entrará en sepultura; por cuanto se ha hallado en él alguna cosa buena de Jehová Dios de Israel, en la casa de Jeroboam.

And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.

Também Yahweh levantará um rei de Israel, que destruirá a família de Jeroboão, nesse dia. Hoje é este dia, agora mesmo.

Y Jehová se levantará un rey sobre Israel, el cual talará la casa de Jeroboam en este día; ¿y qué, si ahora?

Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.

Porque Yahweh atacará Israel, como se agita a cana nas águas, e Ele arrancará Israel desta boa terra, que deu a seus antepassados. Ele lhes espalhará além do rio Eufrates, pois, eles fizeram postes para Asterote, e provocaram a ira de Yahweh.

Y Jehová sacudirá á Israel, al modo que la caña se agita en las aguas: y él arrancará á Israel de esta buena tierra que había dado á sus padres, y esparcirálos de la otra parte del río, por cuanto han hecho sus bosques, enojando á Jehová.

For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

For the LORD will strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water; and he will root up Israel out of this good land which he gave to their fathers, and will scatter them beyond the River, because they have made their Asherah poles, provoking the LORD to anger.

Ele abandonará Israel por causa dos pecados de Jeroboão; os pecados que ele tem cometido, e, através dos quais ele conduziu Israel a pecar".

Y él entregará á Israel por los pecados de Jeroboam, el cual pecó, y ha hecho pecar á Israel.

And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who did sin, and who made Israel to sin.

Então a esposa de Jeroboão levantou-se e partiu, e foi para Tirza. Assim que chegou à entrada da sua casa, o menino morreu.

Todo o Israel o enterrou e chorou por ele, conforme a palavra de Yahweh, a qual ele falou por meio de seu servo Aías, o profeta.

Y enterráronlo, y endechólo todo Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová, que él había hablado por mano de su siervo Ahías profeta.

And they buried him; and all Israel mourned for him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by the hand of his servant Ahijah the prophet.

Judá fez o que era mau aos olhos de Yahweh; e, pelos pecados que cometeram, provocaram Seu ciúmes, mais do que fizeram os seus pais.

And Judah did evil in the sight of the LORD, and they provoked him to jealousy with their sins which they had committed, above all that their fathers had done.

Pois também edificaram, por si mesmos, lugares altos, pilares de pedra e postes de Astarote, sobre toda colina alta e debaixo de toda árvore verde.

No quinto ano do rei Roboão, Sisaque, rei do Egito, veio contra Jerusalém.

O rei Roboão fez escudos de bronze no lugar deles, e os entregou nas mãos dos comandantes da guarda que vigiavam as portas da casa do rei.

And king Rehoboam made in their stead brasen shields, and committed them unto the hands of the chief of the guard, which kept the door of the king’s house.
