Zu jener Zeit ward Abija, der Sohn Jerobeams, krank.

EN aquel tiempo Abías hijo de Jeroboam cayó enfermo.

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.

Und Jerobeam sprach zu seinem Weibe: Mache dich auf und verstelle dich, daß niemand merke, daß du Jerobeams Weib bist, und gehe nach Silo; siehe, daselbst ist der Prophet Achija, der von mir geredet hat, daß ich König über dieses Volk sein sollte;

Y dijo Jeroboam á su mujer: Levántate ahora, disfrázate, porque no te conozcan que eres la mujer de Jeroboam, y ve á Silo; que allá está Ahías profeta, el que me dijo que yo había de ser rey sobre este pueblo.

And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

und nimm mit dir zehn Brote und Kuchen und einen Krug Honig und gehe zu ihm, daß er dir kundtue, wie es dem Knaben gehen wird!

Y toma en tu mano diez panes, y turrones, y una botija de miel, y ve á él; que te declare lo que ha de ser de este mozo.

And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.

Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”

Und das Weib Jerobeams tat so und machte sich auf und ging hin nach Silo und kam in das Haus Achijas. Achija aber konnte nicht sehen, denn seine Augen waren starr geworden vor Alter.

Y la mujer de Jeroboam hízolo así; y levantóse, y fué á Silo, y vino á casa de Ahías. Y no podía ya ver Ahías, que sus ojos se habían oscurecido á causa de su vejez.

And Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.

Aber der HERR hatte zu Achija gesprochen: Siehe, das Weib Jerobeams kommt, um von dir ein Wort zu erlangen betreffs ihres Sohnes; denn er ist krank. So rede nun mit ihr so und so! Als sie nun hineinkam, stellte sie sich fremd.

Mas Jehová había dicho á Ahías: He aquí que la mujer de Jeroboam vendrá á consultarte por su hijo, que está enfermo: así y así le has de responder; pues será que cuando ella viniere, vendrá disimulada.

And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.

The LORD said to Ahijah, “Behold, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Tell her such and such; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

Als aber Achija das Geräusch ihrer Füße hörte, wie sie zur Tür hereinkam, sprach er: Komm herein, du Weib Jerobeams! Warum stellst du dich so fremd? Ich bin mit einer harten Botschaft an dich beauftragt!

Y como Ahías oyó el sonido de sus pies cuando entraba por la puerta, dijo: Entra, mujer de Jeroboam; ¿por qué te finges otra? empero yo soy enviado á ti con revelación dura.

And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.

So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, Jeroboam’s wife! Why do you pretend to be another? For I am sent to you with heavy news.

Gehe hin, sage Jerobeam: So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Weil ich dich aus dem Volk erhöht und zum Fürsten über mein Volk Israel gesetzt habe,

Ve, y di á Jeroboam: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Por cuanto yo te levanté de en medio del pueblo, y te hice príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, ‘The LORD, the God of Israel, says: “Because I exalted you from among the people, and made you prince over my people Israel,

also daß ich das Königreich dem Hause Davids entrissen und es dir gegeben habe, du aber nicht gewesen bist wie mein Knecht David, der meine Gebote beobachtete und mir nachwandelte von ganzem Herzen, so daß er nur tat, was in meinen Augen recht ist;

Y rompí el reino de la casa de David, y te lo entregué á ti; y tú no has sido como David mi siervo, que guardó mis mandamientos y anduvo en pos de mí con todo su corazón, haciendo solamente lo derecho delante de mis ojos;

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;

weil du aber mehr Böses getan hast als alle, die vor dir gewesen sind; weil du hingegangen bist und dir andere Götter und gegossene Bilder gemacht hast, so daß du mich zum Zorne reiztest, und mich hinter deinen Rücken geworfen hast;

Antes hiciste lo malo sobre todos los que han sido antes de ti: que fuiste y te hiciste dioses ajenos y de fundición para enojarme, y á mí me echaste tras tus espaldas:

But hast done evil above all that were before thee: for thou hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

darum siehe, bringe ich Unglück über das Haus Jerobeams, und ich will ausrotten von Jerobeam, was männlich ist, Mündige und Unmündige in Israel, und ich will die Nachkommen des Hauses Jerobeams ausfegen, wie man Kot ausfegt, bis es ganz aus sei mit ihm.

Por tanto, he aquí que yo traigo mal sobre la casa de Jeroboam, y yo talaré de Jeroboam todo meante á la pared, así el guardado como el desamparado en Israel; y barreré la posteridad de la casa de Jeroboam, como es barrido el estiércol, hasta que sea acabada.

Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.

Wer von Jerobeam in der Stadt stirbt, den sollen die Hunde fressen; wer aber auf dem Felde stirbt, den sollen die Vögel des Himmels fressen; denn der HERR hat es gesagt!

El que muriere de los de Jeroboam en la ciudad, le comerán los perros; y el que muriere en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo; porque Jehová lo ha dicho.

Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.

The dogs will eat whoever belongs to Jeroboam who dies in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat whoever dies in the field, for the LORD has spoken it.”’

So mache dich nun auf und gehe heim, und wenn dein Fuß die Stadt betritt, wird der Knabe sterben.

Y tú levántate, y vete á tu casa; que en entrando tu pie en la ciudad, morirá el mozo.

Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.

Und ganz Israel wird ihn beklagen, und sie werden ihn begraben; denn von Jerobeam wird dieser allein in ein Grab kommen, weil an ihm vor dem HERRN, dem Gott Israels, etwas Gutes gefunden worden ist im Hause Jerobeams.

Y todo Israel lo endechará, y le enterrarán; porque sólo él de los de Jeroboam entrará en sepultura; por cuanto se ha hallado en él alguna cosa buena de Jehová Dios de Israel, en la casa de Jeroboam.

And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.

Der HERR aber wird einen König über Israel erwecken, der das Haus Jerobeams ausrotten soll an jenem Tag. Und wie steht es schon jetzt!

Y Jehová se levantará un rey sobre Israel, el cual talará la casa de Jeroboam en este día; ¿y qué, si ahora?

Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.

Und der HERR wird Israel schlagen, daß es schwankt wie ein Rohr im Wasser; und er wird Israel ausrotten aus diesem guten Land, welches er ihren Vätern gegeben hat, und wird sie zerstreuen jenseits des Stromes †Euphrat, weil sie ihre Ascheren gemacht haben, den HERRN zu erzürnen.

Y Jehová sacudirá á Israel, al modo que la caña se agita en las aguas: y él arrancará á Israel de esta buena tierra que había dado á sus padres, y esparcirálos de la otra parte del río, por cuanto han hecho sus bosques, enojando á Jehová.

For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

Und er wird Israel dahingeben um der Sünde Jerobeams willen, die er begangen und zu welcher er Israel verführt hat.

Da machte sich das Weib Jerobeams auf, ging hin und kam gen Tirza. Und als sie die Schwelle des Hauses betrat, starb der Knabe.

Einundvierzig Jahre alt war Rehabeam, als er König ward, und regierte siebzehn Jahre lang zu Jerusalem, in der Stadt, die der HERR aus allen Stämmen Israels erwählt hatte, um seinen Namen daselbst wohnen zu lassen. Und seine Mutter hieß Naama, eine Ammoniterin.

An deren Statt ließ der König Rehabeam eherne Schilde machen und versah damit die obersten Trabanten, welche die Tür am Hause des Königs hüteten.
