Um selbige Zeit erkrankte Abijah, der Sohn Jerobeams.

EN aquel tiempo Abías hijo de Jeroboam cayó enfermo.

At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.

Und Jerobeam sprach zu seinem Weibe: Mache dich doch auf und verstelle dich, daß man nicht weiß, daß du Jerobeams Weib bist, und gehe hin nach Schiloh. Siehe, dort ist Achijah, der Prophet, der zu mir geredet, daß ich König würde über dieses Volk.

Y dijo Jeroboam á su mujer: Levántate ahora, disfrázate, porque no te conozcan que eres la mujer de Jeroboam, y ve á Silo; que allá está Ahías profeta, el que me dijo que yo había de ser rey sobre este pueblo.

And Jeroboam said to his wife, Arise, I pray thee, and disguise thyself, that thou be not known to be the wife of Jeroboam; and get thee to Shiloh: behold, there is Ahijah the prophet, which told me that I should be king over this people.

Jeroboam said to his wife, “Please get up and disguise yourself, so that you won’t be recognized as Jeroboam’s wife. Go to Shiloh. Behold, Ahijah the prophet is there, who said that I would be king over this people.

Und nimm zehn Brote in deine Hand und Streuküchlein und einen Krug mit Honig und gehe zu ihm. Der wird dir ansagen, wie es mit dem Jungen sein wird.

Y toma en tu mano diez panes, y turrones, y una botija de miel, y ve á él; que te declare lo que ha de ser de este mozo.

And take with thee ten loaves, and cracknels, and a cruse of honey, and go to him: he shall tell thee what shall become of the child.

Take with you ten loaves of bread, some cakes, and a jar of honey, and go to him. He will tell you what will become of the child.”

Und das Weib Jerobeams tat also und machte sich auf und ging nach Schiloh und kam in Achijahs Haus. Und Achijahu vermochte nicht zu sehen, denn seine Augen waren starr vom Greisenalter.

And Jeroboam’s wife did so, and arose, and went to Shiloh, and came to the house of Ahijah. But Ahijah could not see; for his eyes were set by reason of his age.

Jehovah aber hatte zu Achijahu gesagt: Siehe, das Weib Jerobeams kommt, um dich ein Wort zu befragen über ihren Sohn, der krank ist. So und so rede mit ihr, und sie wird bei ihrem Kommen sich fremd stellen.

Mas Jehová había dicho á Ahías: He aquí que la mujer de Jeroboam vendrá á consultarte por su hijo, que está enfermo: así y así le has de responder; pues será que cuando ella viniere, vendrá disimulada.

And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.

The LORD said to Ahijah, “Behold, Jeroboam’s wife is coming to inquire of you concerning her son, for he is sick. Tell her such and such; for it will be, when she comes in, that she will pretend to be another woman.”

Und es geschah, daß Achijah den Schall ihrer Füße hörte, wie sie zum Eingang kam; da sprach er: Komm herein, Weib Jerobeams, warum stellst du dich fremd? Ich bin aber gesandt zu dir mit Hartem.

Y como Ahías oyó el sonido de sus pies cuando entraba por la puerta, dijo: Entra, mujer de Jeroboam; ¿por qué te finges otra? empero yo soy enviado á ti con revelación dura.

And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be another? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings.

So when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet as she came in at the door, he said, “Come in, Jeroboam’s wife! Why do you pretend to be another? For I am sent to you with heavy news.

Gehe hin, sage Jerobeam: So spricht Jehovah, der Gott Israels, weil Ich dich mitten aus dem Volke erhöht und dich zum Führer über Mein Volk Israel gegeben,

Ve, y di á Jeroboam: Así dijo Jehová Dios de Israel: Por cuanto yo te levanté de en medio del pueblo, y te hice príncipe sobre mi pueblo Israel,

Go, tell Jeroboam, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Forasmuch as I exalted thee from among the people, and made thee prince over my people Israel,

Und das Königtum vom Hause Davids gerissen und es dir gegeben habe, und du nicht gewesen bist wie Mein Knecht David, der Meine Gebote hielt und wandelte Mir nach von ganzem Herzen, daß er nur tat, was recht in Meinen Augen war;

Y rompí el reino de la casa de David, y te lo entregué á ti; y tú no has sido como David mi siervo, que guardó mis mandamientos y anduvo en pos de mí con todo su corazón, haciendo solamente lo derecho delante de mis ojos;

And rent the kingdom away from the house of David, and gave it thee: and yet thou hast not been as my servant David, who kept my commandments, and who followed me with all his heart, to do that only which was right in mine eyes;

Und Böseres getan hast als alle, die vor dir waren, und hingingst und dir andere Götter und Gußbilder machtest, um Mich zu reizen, und Mich hinter deinen Rücken warfst;

Darum, siehe, bringe Ich Böses über das Haus Jerobeams, und rotte aus dem Jerobeam, was an die Wand pisset, die Zurückgehaltenen und die Verlassenen in Israel und fege aus hinter dem Hause Jerobeams her, so wie man den Kot ausfegt, bis es zunichte wird.

Por tanto, he aquí que yo traigo mal sobre la casa de Jeroboam, y yo talaré de Jeroboam todo meante á la pared, así el guardado como el desamparado en Israel; y barreré la posteridad de la casa de Jeroboam, como es barrido el estiércol, hasta que sea acabada.

Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone.

Was dem Jerobeam stirbt in der Stadt, sollen die Hunde fressen; und was auf dem Felde stirbt, das soll das Gevögel der Himmel fressen! Denn Jehovah hat es geredet.

El que muriere de los de Jeroboam en la ciudad, le comerán los perros; y el que muriere en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo; porque Jehová lo ha dicho.

Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the LORD hath spoken it.

The dogs will eat whoever belongs to Jeroboam who dies in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat whoever dies in the field, for the LORD has spoken it.”’

Du aber mache dich auf, gehe nach deinem Hause; wenn deine Füße in die Stadt eingehen, so ist das Kind tot.

Y tú levántate, y vete á tu casa; que en entrando tu pie en la ciudad, morirá el mozo.

Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die.

Und ganz Israel wird um ihn klagen und ihn begraben; aber er allein wird von Jerobeam in ein Grab kommen, darum, daß in ihm noch Gutes gegen Jehovah, den Gott Israels, in Jerobeams Hause gefunden ward.

And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.

Jehovah aber wird Sich einen König über Israel erstehen lassen, der das Haus des Jerobeam ausrotten wird an jenem Tage! Und was auch jetzt?

Y Jehová se levantará un rey sobre Israel, el cual talará la casa de Jeroboam en este día; ¿y qué, si ahora?

Moreover the LORD shall raise him up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.

Und Jehovah wird Israel schlagen, gleich wie das Rohr im Wasser umhergeweht wird und wird Israel ausreißen von diesem guten Boden, den Er ihren Vätern gegeben hat, und über den Fluß hin zersprengen, weil sie sich Ascheren gemacht, um Jehovah zu reizen.

Y Jehová sacudirá á Israel, al modo que la caña se agita en las aguas: y él arrancará á Israel de esta buena tierra que había dado á sus padres, y esparcirálos de la otra parte del río, por cuanto han hecho sus bosques, enojando á Jehová.

For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

Und er wird Israel hingeben wegen der Sünden Jerobeam, die er gesündigt, und die er Israel sündigen machte.

Und Jerobeams Weib machte sich auf und ging und kam nach Thirzah; sie kam auf die Schwelle des Hauses, und der Junge starb.
