14Und er sprach: Ich habe sehr geeifert für Jehova, den Gott der Heerscharen; denn die Kinder Israel haben deinen Bund verlassen, deine Altäre niedergerissen und deine Propheten mit dem Schwerte getötet; und ich allein bin übriggeblieben, und sie trachten danach, mir das Leben zu nehmen!

14Y él respondió: Sentido he un vivo celo por Jehová Dios de los ejércitos; porque los hijos de Israel han dejado tu alianza, han derribado tus altares, y han muerto á cuchillo tus profetas: y yo solo he quedado, y me buscan para quitarme la vida.

14And he said, I have been very jealous for the LORD God of hosts: because the children of Israel have forsaken thy covenant, thrown down thine altars, and slain thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.
