ella le envió este mensaje a Elías: «¡Te juro por mis dioses, que mañana, a esta misma hora, tú serás hombre muerto! ¡Así como mataste a mis profetas, yo te mataré a ti!».

Entonces envió Jezabel á Elías un mensajero, diciendo: Así me hagan los dioses, y así me añadan, si mañana á estas horas yo no haya puesto tu persona como la de uno de ellos.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.
