13Ve de inmediato a ver al rey David y dile: ‘¿No me juró usted, mi señor el rey, que mi hijo Salomón reinaría después de usted y se sentaría en su trono? ¿Por qué, entonces, Adonías se ha hecho rey?’.

13Ve, y entra al rey David, y dile: Rey señor mío, ¿no has tú jurado á tu sierva, diciendo: Salomón tu hijo reinará después de mí, y él se sentará en mi trono? ¿por qué pues reina Adonía?

13Go and get thee in unto king David, and say unto him, Didst not thou, my lord, O king, swear unto thine handmaid, saying, Assuredly Solomon thy son shall reign after me, and he shall sit upon my throne? why then doth Adonijah reign?

13Go in to King David, and tell him, ‘Didn’t you, my lord the king, swear to your servant, saying, “Assuredly Solomon your son shall reign after me, and he shall sit on my throne”? Why then does Adonijah reign?’
