42Y él le dijo: Yavé dice: Porque soltaste de la mano al hombre que Yo destiné a la destrucción, ¡tu vida pagará por su vida, y tu pueblo por su pueblo!

42And he said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Because thou hast let go out of thy hand a man whom I appointed to utter destruction, therefore thy life shall go for his life, and thy people for his people.

42He said to him, “The LORD says, ‘Because you have let go out of your hand the man whom I had devoted to destruction, therefore your life will take the place of his life, and your people take the place of his people.’”
