Achab rentra dans sa maison sombre et irrité à cause de cette parole que lui avait dite Naboth de Jezrahel : « Je ne donnerai pas l'héritage de mes pères. » Et, se couchant sur son lit, il détourna le visage et ne mangea pas.
Y vínose Achâb á su casa triste y enojado, por la palabra que Naboth de Jezreel le había respondido, diciendo: No te daré la heredad de mis padres. Y acostóse en su cama, y volvió su rostro, y no comió pan.
And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

Il n'y a eu vraiment personne qui se soit vendu comme Achab pour faire ce qui est mal aux yeux de Yahweh ; parce que Jézabel, sa femme, l'excitait.
(A la verdad ninguno fué como Achâb, que se vendiese á hacer lo malo á los ojos de Jehová; porque Jezabel su mujer lo incitaba.
