Nach diesen Geschichten begab sich folgendes: Nabot, der Jesreelit, hatte einen Weinberg zu Jesreel beim Palast Ahabs, des Königs von Samaria.

PASADOS estos negocios, aconteció que Naboth de Jezreel tenía en Jezreel una viña junto al palacio de Achâb rey de Samaria.

And it came to pass after these things, that Naboth the Jezreelite had a vineyard, which was in Jezreel, hard by the palace of Ahab king of Samaria.

Und Ahab redete mit Nabot und sprach: Gib mir deinen Weinberg, ich will einen Gemüsegarten daraus machen, weil er so nahe an meinem Hause liegt, und ich will dir einen bessern Weinberg dafür geben; oder, wenn es dir gefällt, will ich dir Geld dafür geben, so viel er gilt.

Y Achâb habló á Naboth, diciendo: Dame tu viña para un huerto de legumbres, porque está cercana, junto á mi casa, y yo te daré por ella otra viña mejor que esta; ó si mejor te pareciere, te pagaré su valor en dinero.

And Ahab spake unto Naboth, saying, Give me thy vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near unto my house: and I will give thee for it a better vineyard than it; or, if it seem good to thee, I will give thee the worth of it in money.

Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, “Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a garden of herbs, because it is near my house; and I will give you for it a better vineyard than it. Or, if it seems good to you, I will give you its worth in money.”

Aber Nabot sprach zu Ahab: Das lasse der HERR ferne von mir sein, daß ich dir das Erbe meiner Väter geben sollte!

Y Naboth respondió á Achâb: Guárdeme Jehová de que yo te dé á ti la heredad de mis padres.

And Naboth said to Ahab, The LORD forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

Naboth said to Ahab, “May the LORD forbid me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers to you!”

Da kam Ahab heim, mißmutig und zornig, um des Wortes willen, das Nabot, der Jesreelit, zu ihm gesprochen hatte: Ich will dir das Erbe meiner Väter nicht geben! Und er legte sich auf sein Bett, wandte sein Angesicht ab und aß nichts.

Y vínose Achâb á su casa triste y enojado, por la palabra que Naboth de Jezreel le había respondido, diciendo: No te daré la heredad de mis padres. Y acostóse en su cama, y volvió su rostro, y no comió pan.

And Ahab came into his house heavy and displeased because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him: for he had said, I will not give thee the inheritance of my fathers. And he laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face, and would eat no bread.

Da kam sein Weib Isebel zu ihm hinein und redete mit ihm: Warum bist du so mißmutig und issest nichts?

Y vino á él su mujer Jezabel, y díjole: ¿Por qué está tan triste tu espíritu, y no comes pan?

But Jezebel his wife came to him, and said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?

Er sprach zu ihr: Ich habe mit Nabot, dem Jesreeliten, geredet und zu ihm gesagt: Gib mir deinen Weinberg um Geld, oder, wenn es dir lieber ist, will ich dir einen andern dafür geben. Er aber sprach: Ich will dir meinen Weinberg nicht geben!

Y él respondió: Porque hablé con Naboth de Jezreel, y díjele que me diera su viña por dinero, ó que, si más quería, le daría otra viña por ella; y él respondió: Yo no te daré mi viña.

And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee another vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard.

He said to her, “Because I spoke to Naboth the Jezreelite, and said to him, ‘Give me your vineyard for money; or else, if it pleases you, I will give you another vineyard for it.’ He answered, ‘I will not give you my vineyard.’”

Da sprach sein Weib Isebel zu ihm: Erzeige dich jetzt als König über Israel! Stehe auf und iß etwas und sei guten Muts! Ich will dir den Weinberg Nabots, des Jesreeliten, verschaffen!

Y su mujer Jezabel le dijo: ¿Eres tú ahora rey sobre Israel? Levántate, y come pan, y alégrate: yo te daré la viña de Naboth de Jezreel.

And Jezebel his wife said unto him, Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? arise, and eat bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite.

Und sie schrieb Briefe in Ahabs Namen und versiegelte sie mit seinem Siegel und sandte sie an die Ältesten und Obersten, die mit Nabot zusammen in der Stadt wohnten;

Entonces ella escribió cartas en nombre de Achâb, y sellólas con su anillo y enviólas á los ancianos y á los principales que moraban en su ciudad con Naboth.

So she wrote letters in Ahab’s name, and sealed them with his seal, and sent the letters unto the elders and to the nobles that were in his city, dwelling with Naboth.

und sie schrieb in den Briefen also: Ruft ein Fasten aus und setzet Nabot oben an unter dem Volk;

und stellt ihm gegenüber zwei Männer auf, nichtswürdige Leute, welche wider ihn zeugen und sagen sollen: «Du hast Gott und dem König geflucht!» Und führt ihm hinaus und steinigt ihn, daß er sterbe!

Y poned dos hombres perversos delante de él, que atestigüen contra él, y digan: Tú has blasfemado á Dios y al rey. Y entonces sacadlo, y apedreadlo, y muera.

And set two men, sons of Belial, before him, to bear witness against him, saying, Thou didst blaspheme God and the king. And then carry him out, and stone him, that he may die.

Set two men, wicked fellows, before him, and let them testify against him, saying, ‘You cursed God and the king!’ Then carry him out, and stone him to death.”

Und die Männer seiner Stadt, die Ältesten und Vornehmsten, die in seiner Stadt wohnten, taten, wie Isebel ihnen aufgetragen hatte, wie in den Briefen geschrieben stand, die sie ihnen zugesandt.

Y los de su ciudad, los ancianos y los principales que moraban en su ciudad, lo hicieron como Jezabel les mandó, conforme á lo escrito en las cartas que ella les había enviado.

And the men of his city, even the elders and the nobles who were the inhabitants in his city, did as Jezebel had sent unto them, and as it was written in the letters which she had sent unto them.

Sie ließen ein Fasten ausrufen und setzten Nabot obenan unter dem Volk.

Da kamen die beiden Männer, die nichtswürdigen Leute, und traten gegen ihn auf und zeugten wider Nabot vor dem Volk und sprachen: Nabot hat Gott und dem König geflucht! Da führten sie ihn vor die Stadt hinaus und steinigten ihn, daß er starb.

Vinieron entonces dos hombres perversos, y sentáronse delante de él: y aquellos hombres de Belial atestiguaron contra Naboth delante del pueblo, diciendo: Naboth ha blasfemado á Dios y al rey. Y sacáronlo fuera de la ciudad, y apedreáronlo con piedras, y murió.

And there came in two men, children of Belial, and sat before him: and the men of Belial witnessed against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, Naboth did blaspheme God and the king. Then they carried him forth out of the city, and stoned him with stones, that he died.

The two men, the wicked fellows, came in and sat before him. The wicked fellows testified against him, even against Naboth, in the presence of the people, saying, “Naboth cursed God and the king!” Then they carried him out of the city and stoned him to death with stones.

Und sie sandten zu Isebel und ließen ihr sagen: Nabot ist gesteinigt worden und ist tot!

Después enviaron á decir á Jezabel: Naboth ha sido apedreado y muerto.

Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, Naboth is stoned, and is dead.

Als aber Isebel hörte, daß Nabot gesteinigt worden und tot sei, sprach Isebel zu Ahab: Stehe auf und nimm den Weinberg Nabots, des Jesreeliten, in Besitz, welchen er dir nicht um Geld geben wollte; denn Nabot lebt nicht mehr, er ist tot!

Y como Jezabel oyó que Naboth había sido apedreado y muerto, dijo á Achâb: Levántate y posee la viña de Naboth de Jezreel, que no te la quiso dar por dinero; porque Naboth no vive, sino que es muerto.

And it came to pass, when Jezebel heard that Naboth was stoned, and was dead, that Jezebel said to Ahab, Arise, take possession of the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, which he refused to give thee for money: for Naboth is not alive, but dead.

Als nun Ahab hörte, daß Nabot tot sei, stand er auf, um zum Weinberg Nabots, des Jesreeliten, hinabzugehen und ihn in Besitz zu nehmen.

And it came to pass, when Ahab heard that Naboth was dead, that Ahab rose up to go down to the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreelite, to take possession of it.

Mache dich auf und gehe hinab, Ahab, dem König von Israel, der zu Samaria ist, entgegen! Siehe, er ist im Weinberg Nabots, dahin er gegangen, um ihn in Besitz zu nehmen.

Levántate, desciende á encontrarte con Achâb rey de Israel, que está en Samaria: he aquí él está en la viña de Naboth, á la cual ha descendido para tomar posesión de ella.

Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, which is in Samaria: behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it.

“Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, who dwells in Samaria. Behold, he is in the vineyard of Naboth, where he has gone down to take possession of it.

Du sollst aber zu ihm sagen: So spricht der HERR: «Hast du gemordet und geraubt?» Und du sollst ferner mit ihm reden und sagen: So spricht der HERR: An der Stelle, wo die Hunde das Blut Nabots geleckt haben, sollen die Hunde auch dein Blut lecken, ja, das deinige!

And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou killed, and also taken possession? And thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the LORD, In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood, even thine.

You shall speak to him, saying, ‘The LORD says, “Have you killed and also taken possession?”’ You shall speak to him, saying, ‘The LORD says, “In the place where dogs licked the blood of Naboth, dogs will lick your blood, even yours.”’”

Und Ahab sprach zu Elia: Hast du mich gefunden, du mein Feind? Er aber sprach: Ja, ich habe dich gefunden, weil du dich verkauft hast, das zu tun, was böse ist vor dem HERRN!

Y Achâb dijo á Elías: ¿Me has hallado, enemigo mío? Y él respondió: Hete encontrado, porque te has vendido á mal hacer delante de Jehová.

And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy? And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD.

Ahab said to Elijah, “Have you found me, my enemy?” He answered, “I have found you, because you have sold yourself to do that which is evil in the LORD’s sight.

Siehe, ich will Unglück über dich bringen und deine Nachkommen wegfegen und von Ahab ausrotten, was männlich ist, Mündige und Unmündige in Israel;

He aquí yo traigo mal sobre ti, y barreré tu posteridad, y talaré de Achâb todo meante á la pared, al guardado y al desamparado en Israel:

Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel,

Behold, I will bring evil on you, and will utterly sweep you away and will cut off from Ahab everyone who urinates against a wall, and him who is shut up and him who is left at large in Israel.

und will dein Haus machen wie das Haus Jerobeams, des Sohnes Nebats, und wie das Haus Baesas, des Sohnes Achijas, um der Herausforderung willen, womit du mich zum Zorn gereizt und Israel zur Sünde verführt hast!

Y yo pondré tu casa como la casa de Jeroboam hijo de Nabat, y como la casa de Baasa hijo de Ahía; por la provocación con que me provocaste á ira, y con que has hecho pecar á Israel.

And will make thine house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation wherewith thou hast provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.

Und auch über Isebel redete der HERR und sprach: Die Hunde sollen Isebel fressen auf dem Acker von Jesreel!

De Jezabel también ha hablado Jehová, diciendo: Los perros comerán á Jezabel en la barbacana de Jezreel.

Wer von Ahab in der Stadt stirbt, den sollen die Hunde fressen, und wer auf dem Felde stirbt, den sollen die Vögel des Himmels fressen!

El que de Achâb fuere muerto en la ciudad, perros le comerán: y el que fuere muerto en el campo, comerlo han las aves del cielo.

Him that dieth of Ahab in the city the dogs shall eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat.

The dogs will eat whoever dies of Ahab in the city; and the birds of the sky will eat whoever dies in the field.”

Gar niemand war wie Ahab, der sich verkauft hatte, Übles zu tun vor dem HERRN, wozu sein Weib Isebel ihn überredete.

(A la verdad ninguno fué como Achâb, que se vendiese á hacer lo malo á los ojos de Jehová; porque Jezabel su mujer lo incitaba.

But there was none like unto Ahab, which did sell himself to work wickedness in the sight of the LORD, whom Jezebel his wife stirred up.

Und er verübte sehr viele Greuel, indem er den Götzen nachwandelte, ganz wie die Amoriter getan, die der HERR vor den Kindern Israel vertrieben hatte.

El fué en grande manera abominable, caminando en pos de los ídolos, conforme á todo lo que hicieron los Amorrheos, á los cuales lanzó Jehová delante de los hijos de Israel.)

Als aber Ahab diese Worte hörte, zerriß er seine Kleider und legte einen Sack um seinen Leib und fastete und schlief im Sack und ging langsam einher.

Hast du nicht gesehen, wie sich Ahab vor mir demütigt? Weil er sich nun vor mir demütigt, will ich das Unglück nicht zu seinen Lebzeiten hereinbrechen lassen; erst bei seines Sohnes Lebzeiten will ich das Unglück über sein Haus bringen.

¿No has visto como Achâb se ha humillado delante de mí? Pues por cuanto se ha humillado delante de mí, no traeré el mal en sus días: en los días de su hijo traeré el mal sobre su casa.

Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son’s days will I bring the evil upon his house.

“See how Ahab humbles himself before me? Because he humbles himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days; but I will bring the evil on his house in his son’s day.”
