Au coucher du soleil, le héraut de l'armée s'arrêta, disant : Que chacun retourne en sa ville et en sa terre,

Y á puesta del sol salió un pregón por el campo, diciendo: ¡Cada uno á su ciudad, y cada cual á su tierra!

And there went a proclamation throughout the host about the going down of the sun, saying, Every man to his city, and every man to his own country.

A cry went throughout the army about the going down of the sun, saying, “Every man to his city, and every man to his country!”
