Ocozías, hijo del rey Acab, y quien lo sucedió en el trono, había propuesto a Josafat que sus hombres fueran también, pero Josafat había rechazado la oferta.

Había Josaphat hecho navíos en Tharsis, los cuales habían de ir á Ophir por oro; mas no fueron, porque se rompieron en Ezion-geber.

Then said Ahaziah the son of Ahab unto Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with thy servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not.
