Entonces, a una orden del rey, Benaías agarró a Simí, lo sacó y lo mató. De este modo el reino se afirmó en manos de Salomón.

Entonces el rey mandó á Benaía hijo de Joiada, el cual salió é hirióle; y murió. Y el reino fué confirmado en la mano de Salomón.
