Puis, voici, tu as près de toi Siméi, fils de Guéra, Benjamite, de Bahurim, lui qui proféra contre moi des malédictions affreuses, le jour où j'allais à Mahanaïm ; il descendit à ma rencontre vers le Jourdain, et je lui jurai par l'Eternel en disant : Je ne te ferai point mourir par l'épée.
También tienes contigo á Semei hijo de Gera, hijo de Benjamín, de Bahurim, el cual me maldijo con una maldición fuerte el día que yo iba á Mahanaim. Mas él mismo descendió á recibirme al Jordán, y yo le juré por Jehová, diciendo: Yo no te mataré á cuchillo.
And, behold, thou hast with thee Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite of Bahurim, which cursed me with a grievous curse in the day when I went to Mahanaim: but he came down to meet me at Jordan, and I sware to him by the LORD, saying, I will not put thee to death with the sword.
